For the price it would have been nice to have a pool. It was completely drained. Hopefully it is fixed now.

Housekeeping. The staff did a horrible job. Three days they did not make our beds, or clean the room. One day the house keeper took all the dirty towels and didn’t replace them.

The front desk staff were amazing! They all were professional, polite, and friendly . Matilda was a rock star. She went above and beyond our expectations. Michelle, food service was very friendly and helpful.

I still have not received my deposit that was taken at the hotel they said it would only take a few days to take it off of my credit card This is the second time I’ve used this site and have to continue to fight to get my deposit back

There was a wet and dirty towel left in the room and if you were out in the hallway it was hot. They were doing construction on the third floor so that may account for no air conditioning

the carpet in the corridor was very dirty and full of stains. the walls are paper thin, you can hear clearly what happens in the next room.

Although, we didn't use the sitting device in the bathroom shower, it did have some small hairs around the hinges. The sliding door to the bathroom doesn't allow for full privacy. Anyone (family or friend) standing at the handle can fully view the toilet or anyone undressing or coming out of the shower. The design of the bathroom door is terrible as it allows accidental views of anyone exposed inside. And there is no way to lock it for privacy either. Being that it was a family of four/two queen beds... Bathroom privacy is needed.

Beds were comfortable and the a/c was working great despite it sounding tough now and then. The breakfast was decent.

Very pricey. We were there for a graduation on a holiday weekend but it was overpriced. There was no seating for breakfast.

We asked for adjoining rooms and the property contacted us saying they would have to change the kind of room to make that happen and we said OK. When we got there, the rooms were all different floors, and the best they could do was about four rooms apart, why did they confirm adjoining rooms And have me change the room style then not deliver?

It was very clean. The staff were friendly. The breakfast was good and they kept it stocked, even when it was close to closing.

The elevator smelled like marijuana and there was obviously people smoking it in their cars in the parking lot. Not the best environment when you have 4 children with you. Also had problems with the bathroom door dragging and not closing correctly.

As with many hotels, the things we don't like are often out of the control of the hotels, but probably CAN be influenced by the hotel management/chain in the future. Hwy 290 has a cross walk, which is burdened by road construction just now, but passable. We used our cell phone lights to ensure a bit more safety when we walked to and through the HEB parking lot across the road from the hotel. Drivers seemed to appreciate our extra effort too. It would be nice if Texas could figure out how to go beyond just cars, to better walkways, bikeways, and even save communities like Dripping Springs from becoming inhospitable due to poor infrastructural planning and miles of disconnected subdivisions with no bus, tram, or rail connections to Austin and beyond.

Good value with friendly service. Check in personnel were helpful and kind. We arrived after 8pm and he let us know immediately that if we wanted to eat out, most places closed at 9pm. We opted to walk across the road to the grocery to pick up some microwaveable pulled pork, a loaf of bread and a ready-made salad, and cookies to enjoy with the room's coffee. Breakfast the next morning was very good. While we don't always use waffle machines, we were intrigued by a pancake machine that we'd not seen in a hotel before, so we tested it out. The results were good, and the machine was amusing to watch in action!

Surrounding was not cleaned for a while even there were cleaning in sight 😔 so sad about the bathroom. My children could not reach soap in bathroom due to hang up to high, even adults could use it without spreading soap on your body. There were electricity not professional fixed in bathroom. Part of pool was not useable because it looks disgusting. Should be more maintenance to fixed small issues then it would be nice again

Room was clean but the hallway and elevator were not cleaned in a while. Does not make a good impression. Breakfast was good, staff friendly.

Both nights I could hear people talking late into the night and constant slamming of doors. When you let go of doors they slam to very loudly. Did not get good sleep while there.

We booked through Bookings.com and they are thieves. Fools that we are we paid $318.58 per night as we thought that was the ony price, when in fact we got to the hotel and inquired what would have happened had we booked direct, the hotel said their charge is $129 plus tax etc....per night! How can Bookings.com possibly charge almost three times the actual cost of the room? When I called Bookings.com to complain, a woman named Johanna who claimed to be a Manger, said it was becasue of taxes commissions and other charges that vary. I feel Bookings.com owes us a credit or refund for the difference as it is outrageous that you can in good conscince charge such an exhoboratnt amount and adding insult to injury when we tried to cancel find that our deposit was non refundable. Also when I called the complaint number listed on line, we think a "scam" was about to happen as this so called manager woman named Johanna said that she would authorize a $500 refund but we would have to buy an Apple card for that amount and then send to her and then she woud refund $400. We knew immediately this was a scam but you should be aware there are people claming to be with Bookings.com. they had all of my info from the room charge including last digits of my credit card. I wouldl appreiate hearing back from you to rectify this problem.

I think paying close to $600 for two nights in a Holiday Inn Express is not what I expected. But it's Dripping Springs, a big tourist trap.

The hotel is well located and within walking distance to a supermarket and eateries.
