The carpet in the room was extremely sticky. The bathtub didn’t have a stopper so my young daughter couldn’t take a bath and had to shower. Not a deal breaker, but the tub couldn’t be used as a tub.

Could have been up to higher standards on Cleanliness. Bathroom was really dusty, had Banana stickers on the shower wall, tub was badly stained, box spring looked busted with fabric hanging out......just not the above par expectations from Holiday Inn standards we're used to.

Sharing the main elevator with the janitor and his garbage can on wheels! I suggested he wait, but he pushed his way in. It was really gross.

When I was about to step into the shower, I realized there were no wash cloths in the bathroom. Usually they're in with the hand towels and the bath towels and readily available. I didn't feel like getting dressed and going down to the front desk to get one wash cloth nor call and wait for someone to bring a wash cloth up to me, so I used a hand towel in the shower. That was a first. When I stepped out of the shower I glanced to the counter where there was a small basket of Makeup Removal Wipes, and I noticed peeking out slightly from behind the Wipes were the wash cloths. A great job of hiding the wash cloths. I wound up staying there a second night, but in a different room, and the wash cloths were in the same place, so I guess it's their policy to hide the wash cloths.

Bed was comfortable, breakfast was very good-big selection of hot and cold items.

There were no USB charging stations in the room. I have stayed at other hotels with USB charging ports on the lamps, desks even the clocks. The carpet should be either cleaned or replaced. There was staining from red juice/wine near the bed and something white by the door.

The hotel shows some wear and tear. Specifically, there were stains on the furniture such as the sofa, desk chair and on the carpet. The level of detail clean is not there. Lost of dust various places and smears. At first glance it appears clean but the longer you look the more you notice. The bathroom had some poor repair work to the wall and the counter top was pulling away from the wall. The ac unit was old looking and the cents cracked and dirty. Although there was a multiple breakfast options, they ran out super fast. Many patrons left with just a piece of fruit or yogurt, as most all of the hot foods were gone. No one was there tending it that I could see. For the amount of guests at this hotel, this was disappointing. I could see others had some eggs, bacon, sausage and French toast sticks. Just was not enough to go around.

The hotel is located in a convenient area close to many restaurants and stores. It felt like a safe area and was well lit. The staff was friendly. I liked the fitness center, a hot breakfast was offered and large size room. Bed and pillows were cozy. We slept well.

The property upkeep was less than perfect, but quite acceptable, under the circumstances. I understand the pressures of housekeeping amid the pre-Christmas travel rush, but I REALLY could have used a two-hour -- or even a one-hour -- check- out extension before launching into another grueling 12-hour battle. "That which doesn't kill us makes us stronger."

Just needed decent, quick sleep haven on the highway, so I can "mend fences" with family: I required quiet, modest comfort, and security. By the time I finally arrived (4:30 AM!), I needed sleep. And I achieved that. (GHASTLY Texas highway construction issues more than doubled my driving day, and I feared my room would be gone). Email contact every couple hours with revised ETA displayed great patience on the part of the desk personnel. And the housekeeper(s) were gracious and kind about my frantic departure scramble. The staff interactions saved my sanity through one of my all-time most miserable travel ordeals. Thank you so much, IHG Lafayette!

The room was nice and well kept. The beds were made but the attention to detail was a little off. The phone in the room was blinking and I had to unplug it. The wallpaper in the bathroom was coming off the wall due to the moisture in the bathroom. No vent was noted to help remove heat from the shower. Mirrors were fogged and took time to get back to normal. Overall experience was good and staff was very accommodating. I would book again when in the area.

I enjoyed the professional clerks at the front desk. The location and hotel entrance was nice and well kept. It was raining so the front area was wet but not unsafe. The check in/out process was quick and easy.

Bolted windows. I hate when I cannot open window. I feel like prisoner. In addition stink and mold cannot be aired properly. Air conditioner is too artificial and noisy.

Breakfast was OK a little less choices in comparison with other hotel like Spring Hill. Room comfortable, however I like hard beds. I can't seep well on soft bed.
