All of the plates and cutlery for the breakfast were made of styrofoam. There's a lot more sustainable alternatives out there that aren't too expensive, I'd love to see this hotel make the shift towards something that is more environmentally friendly.

Our room was nice and the staff were friendly. Breakfast was quite good. The hotel is well situated, making it easy to reach a lot of different parts of Saint Joseph.

Housekeeping did not come in to clean our room once. The garbage cans were overflowing and there was a pile of dirty towels on the floor by the end of our trip.

If you asked for a plunger, a towel (even though they gave us less than the amount of people we registered for the room) they made us come and get them from the front desk. We registered for 6 people and there were 3 towels. It was a room that slept 8, with 2 rooms. WE also needed another pillow and they made us come and get that as well, even though the room is not equipped with the correct amount.

Proximity to the beach. The view is really nice. The breakfast is well done. Parking is good. The beds are comfortable.

Neighbors were quite loud. There was construction on the rooms right next to ours. It was not loud but the hallway was dirty in that section understandably.

This place is beautiful and everything in our room was clean and comfortable.

The weather was much colder than we had hoped, but we made the best of it. Lighting in the room was spars on couch end of the room adequate on the bed end.

This recently remodeled king suite with a balcony view of Lake Michigan was exactly what we wanted for our impromptu long weekend. The room was warm and spacious.

The weakpoint is the breakfast. Not a lot of choice (for example, most of the days, the only fruit available is an apple, maybe a banana if you are lucky), coffie is really bad (colored water, at best), .... The only good point is the pancake machine, funny and producing good fresh pancakes in 1 min.

Well located hotel. Large rooms, confortable bed. Hot tub and swimming pool is an nice free extra, with extended opening hours.

The back door lock was broken making it a bit longer walk in with luggage. No drinks/water or snack available when I arrived too late to purchase one at a local store. The bed was comfortable.

It seemed dated in areas. Bathroom tile cracked, edges by tub not finished, furniture in room dated and old. Balcony had lots of bugs and could have been cleaned.
