The fact that hot breakfast was only for 2 people even though we were 4. We had paid for breakfast included, so this should be made clearer and not just on the small print on a breakfast voucher. Ended up having to pay extra just because 2 of us had a very small portion of scrambled eggs....

The coffee serve at breakfast, it was watered coffee. They need to update the toaster, they took forever to toast a muffin, and the coffee pots served looked run down. For the price, everything served was good except the coffee. Since there are no breakfast options nearby, only coffee shops and bakery.

The room was good, clean. The location was perfect for easy access to every area I wanted to visit, museum and downtown area.

Construction in the main lobby, paying for parking, and our car majorly dented by another car parking way too close- we had to find a repair place on our vacation.

Having a restaurant right there on the property was very helpful (and delicious) when we arrived, so that we could get settled in our room and have an easy meal. The breakfast buffet was good too. Our room size was big, and the window looking out was great when watching the fog that had rolled in that night. The location of the hotel is exceptional when it comes to just leaving your car parked and touring the city by foot.

The price is a New York City price for a Portland Maine hotel ie: holiday inn…. The pullout couch had no sheets and we told them we had three people and paid for three people. It was one king and a pullout. We had to call twice for sheets once was after we came in in the evening and they still weren’t there Then they were just handed to us. Nobody made the bed we made the bed. There’s no closet The bathroom is small There are no liners in any of the trash receptacles/waste baskets in the room Where to pay to park at the hotel, and there were several other people that seem to park there not be to the hotel and the gate just opened and closed freely

Our mattress was much too soft. A firmer mattress would have been much more comfortable. I wish the parking for hotel residents was free, or less expensive.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Courtesy shuttle to and from airport as well as around town was a huge help to us and we were extremely grateful for this service.

The wait time at breakfast can be a little long, but this is not a criticism of the staff. It *IS* a criticism of whoever is deciding that 1 person or 2 people can possibly take care of all the guests there in the morning. (They have to greet you, seat you, get your coffee, get your juice, get your water, get your silverware, and take your order and then bring you your bill and then come back and take your bill -- in addition to cleaning up your table after you leave and setting out new coffee cups and silverware BEFORE they can then seat the next guest there, etc.). THIS is the ONLY problem we found -- but the hotel needs to address this! Again, KUDOS TO THE BREAKFAST STAFF, including the greeter/server and the cooks (who constantly kept an abundant amount of food out on the buffet AT ALL TIMES).

The staff were great. The front desk staff were able to answer all our questions. The cleaning people were on the ball. The staff at the breakfast area are EXTREMELY good. -- By the way, we booked Room 1126 (11th floor is the top floor). It's a bigger room with a king bed and a view of the bay and downtown. GREAT VIEW! Worth the additional price. (When you book, book a room with a Bay View -- see 2 photos of the view from our room)

The pool facilities could use an update, damaged items - made the staff aware. They couldn’t find my booking for around 20/25 mins so checking in wasn’t great. Shower pressure was quite low.

Good location, comfortable beds. Nice view of the city from our room. On site parking is helpful.
