Beds were very hard, pillows flat, low flow shower heads, as usual are the worst. Cannot get the soap out of your hair. Takes forever to wash the soap off you. Not sure they really save any water because you stay in the shower so long cleaning the soap off you.

Being on the corner of a busy street, you could hear all the cars going by in the room we occupied all day and night. Not sure if rooms higher up have less street noise, but being on the 3rd floor you could hear all the outside noise, it was hard to sleep. Also, it seemed the walls were rather thin because one morning I heard an alarm going off for at least 5 minutes.

The location was GREAT, right in the heart of downtown Salem. I really enjoyed the fact that we could walk around the downtown area very easily. The hotel was also very modern looking and I enjoyed the large seating rooms where you can read a book or enjoy coffee in the morning.

Internet poor. Hoping to watch some of the NCAA tournament, the TV streaming was unwatchable... No remedy once telling them about it. Parking overpriced.

Everything was great, with just a few caveats. Why not have throw pillows on the couch and chairs? Do people steal them? It looks chintzy and unfinished. There was a kitchenette in our suite. Why were the dishes and utensils so limited? These things are not expensive. One day, we asked the front desk for some paper towels. The young woman seemed baffled by the question. Why have a kitchenette and fail to understand such a request? Thank you.

Empty shampoo bottle in shower, poor sound proofing- loud traffic noises audible. Avocado on California toast seemed like it came from a packet, pretty sad breakfast. Ended up being an expensive stay.

Had to ask for our room to be cleaned. Left at 11 and got back at 4 and the room hadn't been touched. Explained that stay overs get cleaned in the morning. Never have run into this before. Only had valet parking and when we arrived it was backed up due to a group checking in and no where to even pull your car over.

The location was very convenient to restaurants and all of downtown Salem. Coffee bar and restaurant on site. We only used the coffee bar.

The room was difficult to keep at 69-70 degrees. When I arrived it was 75 degrees, and another time it was turned off and was quite warm. I felt like I had to keep adjusting it to keep it cool. I know that the restaurant will be open In a month, but I arrived at 8 pm on a weeknight, and all the restaurants in town close at 9 (apparently). It would have been nice not to have to brave the rain in the dark as a female.

only one elevator worked. the bathroom fan didn’t work. the fit and finish and quality for money of the rooms kind of sucked. cost twice as much as a mother hotel from the previous night and was about half as enjoyable.

The hotel is new. They need to work out the kinks. The HVAC system had a mind of its own. It would blow hot and cold air randomly. The fan in the bathroom didn't work. The hotel parking sign was false advertising as they only had valet which was very slow.

The location was great. It is close to everything in downtown Salem. The beds were comfortable. The pillows were great. Each bed had four different types of pillows so you could find one for you.

Nothing, I will stay at this hotel again on my next trip into Salem. My friends and I will stay here as a group.

All the staff were so friendly and helpful Especially Tom. he took me around the hotel and showed me where things were. He was always smiling and willing to help guests.

I absolutely loved the property and really wished we could have stayed! There was a mix up with our reservation, I even called two days in advance to make sure all was good. Front desk staff who I talked with was friendly and said everything looked good for our arrival she seemed familiar with affirm and if it’s available though to use at your hotel your whole staff should be familiar with it also. I used affirm for the first time and made half of my first payment. Front desk person charged the full amount even after telling him affirm card is only good for a certain amount and once the card is charged it becomes inactive. We drove 200 miles and were ready to get our room and relax staff acted like there was nothing they could do for us. They were at max capacity as I believe an event was going on we showed up a little after 3 our reservation was at 4 I was on the phone with affirm getting it taken care of we stayed in view of front desk staff so they knew we were trying to figure it out and our room was given away even before our check in time. I really wanted to stay at this hotel but I was not pleased how the staff handled the situation. If someone has a reservation and even if the hotel is booked the room should have not been given away before that check in time and gave us time to figure it out. We had to scramble to find another hotel which we were not pleased with. Definitely made our trip unpleasant especially it being a work trip.
