Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments

- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Non-functioning shower. I could not address as it was 3:39 am.
Water pressure in the early morning was so poor I could not take a shower. Water ran no more than a trickle.

A small comment on the room itself, while it was very comfortable, it had a weird bathroom with a barn-door. The door didn't close, simply slid across, making it really weird. It might be ok for couples, but sharing a room with family wouldn't work. There was no lock - so it was rather uncomfortable. That was the only drawback
The rooms were clean; the housekeeping did an excellent job stocking the place. It had everything and a little more. Normally places that advertise amenities rarely have them as advertised. However, this place ensured that you had the room fully stocked. The breakfast was good, the staff did a really good job of keeping all items available. Sadly one can't say the same about the guests, who were hogging certain sections, cutting between lines and being generally rude - sad to see people behave that way. There was plenty of parking available as well and it's close to good dining.

There was a traveling team so we didn’t even get to have breakfast it was a madhouse. There was also some dogs barking late at night. The bathroom needed a little updating it was borderline dirty.
The room was spacious and exactly what we needed. The hotel is in a good area close to a lot of shops.

Lobby is rather dark and uninviting. Upon arrival, I thought I had entered through the wrong door.

Hotel shower wasn’t clean, black spots in the shower and on the sink. The AC unit was so dusty and the room smell mouldy

Internet service did not work at Arrival, i asked the front desk to help and the guy attending asked to call an external company to request for help. I do not. Agree that customers should have to solve hotel problems by calling third party companies

That we wanted to have our dog with us but the charge was so ridiculous for one night. 75$. Half the cost of the room. There should be a lower charge if there isn't a multi night stay. Fortunately we were able to leave her with our son. Unfortunately she has to be away from us in a strange new environment.

Amazing hotel. Good location for shopping. Right near Target, Walmart, Trader Joes, Crumbl cookie, etc. Rooms were very clean and nice. Staff was great. Complementary coffee, tea, hot chocolate in the lobby. Free parking and breakfast is an amazing perk! Will be staying here again if we come back to Buffalo!

I hate the $250 deposit. Also, I would have liked to have had a pull out table to use in the room. (At my last stay at this hotel, the pull out table was awesome.)
