This particular stay we were put in a room next to the ice machine & elevators. Traveling with dogs, that doesn’t go so well. Up all night at the sound of that ice machine and people talking loudly at the elevator kept making the dogs bark. Otherwise great place. Amenities kinda blah compared to others, but we weren’t there to sit at the hotel.

Home2 are always clean and the rooms are always amazing. The shampoo and conditioner are so good, i ordered some for my home.

No real sugar in the dining area - several sugar substitutes but no sugar :( The pillows were very soft, offering little to no support, which made for a restless night of sleep.

This hotel was a well thought out design - USB ports in the lobby and dining area, several throughout the room; very convenient and helpful with charging devices. The staff was super friendly, checking in with us each time we came into the lobby and even helped with dinner suggestions. There was a spacious courtyard to hang out or chill. The shower was delightful - warm and nice spray. We didn't end up using the kitchenette in the room but it looked like it had anything that could be needed. The room was spacious and allowed us room to spread out for the couple of days we stayed.

The rooms were spacious and very clean and comfortable. Fatima at the front desk was especially helpful. She helped us plan for our trip to the Carlsbad Caverns the next morning and recommended a terrific restaurant in the area for dinner. Hotel is very convenient for the Caverns.

They ran out of many breakfast items and coffee on day 1 but the service was better the next day.

This hotel is well-managed and was in better condition, and cleaner than the upscale hotel we stayed in at Santa Fe. Our room was spotless, and so was the rest of the hotel. Shower pressure was great and the water very hot. Great location if you plan to visit Carlsbad Caverns!

I'd love some fresh vegetables for breakfast, but this is rarity in US guess.

This is incredible value for money. The rooms are clean, staff is very friendly, they give out complimentary pods for washing clothes, even the gym has almost everything you need. The breakfast is surprisingly varied for the class of the establishment.

The garbage bin under the sink looked like it hadn't been cleaned in quite some time: it was very full! The breakfast was quite minimal and a lot of options were already gone by the time we came down for breakfast, still well within the operation times.

The hotel is very easy to reach and within a short driving distance of the restaurants of downtown Carlsbad. There is even a brewery next door! The hotel staff made us feel welcome and provided us with free water upon arrival. The room itself is very large, with a nice sitting area and a large and comfortable bed. The shower was also good, though not ideal for people over six foot two (190 cm)! We slept well with minimal street noise.

Everything was perfect - I highly recommend this location as a home base for exploring Carlsbad Caverns and Guadalupe Mountains National Parks!

This hotel was the absolute nicest chain hotel we have ever stayed in. We use these types of hotels for our National Parks trips and this Home2Suites was amazingly clean, spacious, and well-appointed. The gym was brand spanking new! The breakfast was plentiful and delicious! The staff were always available and so helpful. Even the hallways and stairways smelled new and clean. Truly, I cannot say enough how pleased we were to make this our home base for exploring Carlsbad Caverns and Guadalupe Mountains National Parks!
