Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Lighting, specifically at the desk area. It makes it difficult to do conference/video calls for work.
This is one of the nicest hotels I have stayed at. And I have stayed at several others in Frankfort alone. It was extremely clean, all of the staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and one of the best continental breakfasts at a hotel. They were extremely accommodating of my service animal and made sure we were comfortable our entire stay there.

Our AC was incredibly loud. We reported it as we checked out.
Great location. Lots of food places within walking distance. Good sidewalks and grassy areas to walk the dog.

The couch was very stiff made noise when I shifted, so hubby was distracted when trying to fall asleep but did love the sitting area as well as the mini kitchen and the shelving across the length of the room lots of area to keep our things off floor and organized.
The hubby was a bit disappointed no breakfast sausage but loved that yiu have waffels!!

Nothing. It is a little pricey for a hotel, but worth it.
I normally stay in BnBs, but I'm so glad that I picked this hotel. It was clean, modern, and stocked well with all necessary items.The room was large and provided a lot of countertop space. The front desk staff was friendly and provided water bottles upon check-in and later checked in on us. Most importantly...it was quiet and I slept well.

The TV in our room kept malfunctioning. Also, when we arrived the room was very cold - 60 degrees.
Breakfast was very good. Location was perfect for our needs.

The couch in the room was pretty worn and the toilet paper should have been replaced before we entered the room. This was quickly corrected (the TP) with a trip to the main desk.
The breakfast was very good with lots of hot options. The location was close to all major roadways with very little noise. The location was about 10 minutes away from Buffalo Trace, Castle and Key and maybe 15 minutes from Woodford Reserve. and there were plenty of food options surrounding the property.

Lack of pillows in our room (seemed soft and required more than usual), but we could have called down to the front desk. More of a variety of breakfast items would have been nice.
Jessie went out of his way to ensure we had a nice stay. He immediately went to work checking closets for a pack and play I had requested. He even kept me updated on the process of finding one. Warm breakfast items and coffee was supplied (refilled as needed). Our room was the perfect size for our family of 6 (2 adults and 4 kids); we were able to comfortably fit the kids in the queen size, and adult in another queen size with a pack and play without feeling like we were on top of each other.
