Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

One of The blankets had stain on it.
Overall it was a good stay just a bit of miscommunication about cleaning and towel. I guess it's because of COVID-19 but I believe they could have done better by leaving instruction in every room about used towels and trash.

The couch in our suite smelled very musty, like there had been a water leak. Never knew if housekeeping was coming or not, there wasn't any signage or verbal communication as to if/when they came during our stay.
The room was modern and updated. It had everything we needed for our stay.

The breakfast wasnt all that good due to the covid restrictions.

The blankets could've been better. Great pillows though!
Staff was great. A nice breakfast with waffles and egg sandwiches. Coffee 24hrs. The location is awesome. Tons of stores and restaurants and Dutch Wonderland is 10 mins away.

Thought the design of the building was poor. Our room was at the end of the building on the 2nd floor. The elevator was on the other end.It was quite a walk for an old man with bad knees. I found it easier to take the stairs (parked at the exit by the stairs). My son (special needs ) struggled . I didn't ask for a change of rooms since we were there for basically 2 days and my wife enjoyed the walk' Also I am used to having the linens changed every day other than that I enjoyed the stay

There was no bacon or sausage. But if I was a vegetarian than that wouldn't be a dislike lol.

They could use another one or two waffle maker, since that seems to be the most popular breakfast item, that will definitely speed up the wait to make a waffle.
Breakfast was fine, basic! Would have loved the waffles, but there was always a line at the waffles station. Overall, it was nice.

Breakfast
Was not really a breakfast! We had to eat at a restaurant across the street where the food was delicious. We understood because of COVID, but you could have had a better breakfast. But the staff, the room and the bed made it worthwhile. I will come again.

No locks on bathroom.
Property was very nice. Pool is pretty small. Last night of stay there was a very inexperienced front desk employee who tried so hard to help but had no help. Whole building was dark and he couldn’t turn on the lights.

The location was great and easy to get to all the activities we wanted to do while there. The room was very clean and the beds were super comfortable! The larger refrigerator was great because we bring food along with us for snacks and the milk for the kids. The pool was nice! The staff was extremely friendly and made great conversation. Breakfast was great also! We will definitely stay here again!

Everything was absolutely great. Except.... when sliding the bathroom door closed, there were long hairs that slid with the doors. I also saw long hairs laying next to one of the side tables. Otherwise. That's the only complaint.
