To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The breakfast was good. The gym was great, TV in gym wasn't working, but I don't use a TV while working out.

United States of AmericaOur room didn't have the curtain divider between the bed and the living part of the room. Just a small detail that would have blocked light from the sporadic blinking smoke detector and the bright clock light on the microwave. Our bedspread was inside out and backwards.
Love the breakfast and location! Room was modern and clean. The mattress was comfortable. The window coverings made the room dark and we were able to keep the room a comfortable temperature. The workout area was great with many options. It was also quiet during the night.

But it took almost 15 minutes to check-in when we were finally able to. I actually felt sorry for the staff who were trying to get us checked in.

United States of AmericaThe TV didn't work and wasn't rectified until the second day. The breakfast bar was not worth the time and it was poorly managed. The room was fine but the carpet made you feet black after you walked around bare footed. The lobby and the breakfast area were both dirty and not taken care of very well. Lots of trash. Towels and room service were every other day.

United States of AmericaThe $100 card hold fee, is a bit much. It was added back right away, but it seemed a little ridiculous. I didn't really like the reusable toiletries in the bathroom. I'd rather have little mini bottles, instead of the same ones everyone has been using over and over, and touching. Who knows if anyone has put anything in those besides what's supposed to be in there. 😂
I absolutely love how the shower had a door, and not a curtain, the bathroom was very spacious, the bedding smelled clean, and was comfortable, the dishes and dishwasher in our room was an extreme plus. We really enjoyed the blackout shades in our room, breakfast was enjoyable, everything was easy to find. Checkout time being at noon was awesome because most places are at 11:00, so we could take our time leaving. The location was great, there were many restaurants and shopping areas across the street. The staff was very nice, and very helpful with everything. We would absolutely stay here again.

Also, the water in the shower was very Luke warm. I did not enjoy my shower. Y’all need to add another set of elevators too on the other side.

United States of AmericaThe pet fees charged by the Hilton brand are much too high!! The fees are twice or three times what other hotels charge. For that reason I look for other hotels first.
I love the Home 2 Suites brand. It is comfortable and reliable. The rooms are clean, and the staff are friendly. However, (see my comment below).
