When we first arrived the hotel smelled like a very strong bleach or cleaner which would normally be a good thing but it was way too strong. Room didn’t seem very cold. There was a machine that looked like a dehumidifier or something but there were no instructions how to use it, not sure it was working. We were disappointed in the breakfast, very few seating areas, just one long bar type area very close to other patrons. Not a lot of choices of breakfast items.

I liked that it was fairly new and the room was very roomy and had a full kitchen and full sized fridge. They let us check in early without even asking. We did drop one glass and it broke but I cleaned it up and when we told the staff, they were very gracious and said no problem. Also I left some thing behind after we had checked out but later they allowed me to retrieve my items. Staff was accommodating.

I didn't like the breakfast on the go option. I was looking forward to a warm breakfast plate option, and the drink options were very bland. I ended up having a bowl of cereal with my daughter. My husband works in the refinery industry, and all his meal options are on the go. He was looking forward to a sit-down meal versus the everyday meal routine in that area, as that area is highly known for having family men working in that industry away from their homes.

I loved that I was able to check in earlier as requested. It was a very slow weekend, so we had the pool to ourselves. I would recommend adding tarps or sunshades to the pool area for those not in the pool. It was a very quiet stay with minimal guests, very pleasant.

I was on the 4th floor. The hallway had an unpleasant smell, as well as the entryway to our room. I'm guessing it was due to high humidity because there were fans blowing in the hallways.

Nothing was bad absolutely best hotel ever

Everything the staff the food the cleanliness! They went above and beyond to help us while visiting my mom in hospice. We got lost and they held our room till the next day and asked how they could help . Christina texted me from her personal phone since we were lost late at night hours away with my kids. She did everything in her power to help. I had broke down emotionally over the phone and she calmed me down. The guy I didn't catch his name was also excellent also the breakfast staff. absolutely best hotel stay I've had in my entire life even after arriving they were extremely generous and friendly. I hope those workers stay a long time . They also clean very well.you have an excellent staff at the Portland Texas location.

Staff was so rude, and my daughter went to ask for towels on our 3rd day of being there. The lady at the front desk told her that we couldn't be asking for towels that they only give you new towels on the 5th day of your staying. I paid for 4 guests and had to use the same 4 towels for 4 days, not good. Same thing with trash. We have to go buy trash bags and get our trash out to the big dumpster outside. No one went to make housekeeping at all.

What we did not like was the smell of mildew and must throughout the building. Especially in our room. It is full of mode. Made us sick. Do not recommend staying there. We will never stay there again.

Booked two rooms room 319 was a good room,m; however room 321 had a horrible mildew smell in it. If it was not for the strong mildew smell, I would have enjoyed my stay.

The fact that only one washer worked and when I checked in, I was given a dirty room with banana peels everywhere, trash on everything, beds unmade sheets comforters everywhere. Was given a second room and there was trash all under the sink, went downstairs to tell front desk was given a trash bag and was told to get trash out my self. Front doors were broke, ac was not working properly in building.
