How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Breakfast is a chaotic mess
Spacious, nice kitchenette with option for hot plate which we used. Very comfortable , clean and quiet. Nice gym

Breakfast was limited as there was only one person working on Memorial Day weekend. The hotel was sold out, the food disappeared in matters of seconds. Long wait.
Close to freeway, large and clean room. Nice staff and confortable bed.

Didn’t like the bacon didn’t like the eggs or the roll. I liked the orange juice. The host was very nice!!
Breakfast was not good at all. I would eat breakfast at a restaurant in town next time.

breakfast options are decent but the organization and layout is disastrous, utensils are dirty and in a drawer where everyone touches, really not sanitary at all. coffee and other items run out and staff struggles to keep up
clean, spacious, nice room, good kitchenette, appreciated the desk loaning us a hot plate to cook a bit. rooms are quiet, doors shut slowly so no slamming doors waking you up all night! really appreciated the blackout blinds in the window, refillable pumps for soap/ shampoo. less than 10 min drive to central Redding

The room was spacious and clean. The amenities are superb - there are microwave, refrigerator and dishwasher in our room. The staff was welcoming and helpful. The breakfast has a great variety of options.

The "modern" conveniences were actually pretty sad. The countertops didn't line up with the cabinets. Things didn't close all the way. There was a huge ledge sticking out UNDER the countertop in the sink due to poor quality workmanship.

Nothing really comes to mind.
We stayed in a King Bed room that was very well appointed and comfortable. Microwave, dishwasher along with cookware and real dishes. Nice sized refrigerator/freezer. Bed was comfortable and cozy. Definitely would stay again.

The barn door for the bathroom, but that’s just me.
Our room was clean and spacious. It had multiple ports for charging our devices. Most of all the staff was awesome!

Our only issue were the pillows. After a couple of nights we bought pillows at Costco since we were on a road trip and could bring them home easily.
We stayed for a week so having a workspace and the ability to not eat in a restaurant for every meal were important to us and the room met these requirements. The storage was very good and the lighting was far above average for most hotels. The staff were really great, friendly and extremely helpful. There are great mountain views from the property. We will stay here again.

The breakfast could be better. There is a decent selection of food options, but I found the egg dishes somewhat lacking. I think there could be more in terms of healthy food options as well.
Excellent location off the freeway, and a clean and comfortable room. The staff were very accommodating and helpful. It's very quiet and a nice place to spend an evening just relaxing after a long day of traveling because the rooms are self-contained little suites that have a kitchen and a refrigerator as well as comfortable furniture.

Even though it offered plenty of options, I wish the breakfast was yummier at the expense of limiting the selection. One of us had run into a medical issue that required us to call off our trip but despite us promising to visit the next month and showing our medical bills, the receptionist did not honor us free cancellation, which they are not entitled to do so, but would be a nice favor earning our repeat patronage.
The rooms were pretty spacious, clean, and recently renovated. The breakfast buffet offered a lot of variety. The establishment felt safe.

I found it a bit difficult to control the room temperature... when the divider curtain is used, temperatures vary across the two parts of the room. But the curtain was very useful! (we were 2+1).
Very pleasant welcome by receptionist (Rich) Lobby area and room were very clean. Coffee and tea in the room. Breakfast was slightly above expectations. Hotel was flexible with date change (thank you!)
