Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The sidewalk outside the window of the breakfast area was littered with trash from passersby the previous night.
The location was so convenient for food, shopping and proximity to the cruise port. Every member of the staff I had the pleasure of talking to was so kind, polite, courteous and helpful if needed. The room was very clean, well layed out and everything worked. The breakfast was a big bonus. This was the beginning of my vacation I would look forward to! Thank you!

Everything was perfect at the hotel per se. The phone key did not work right after breakfast but before checkout.

It wasn’t exactly cheap, but I guess that is pricing in the area.
Nice clean Hotel, excellent location. Free tram station nearby, less than 10 minute walk and that takes you aquarium, river side and ybor. Room was clean and breakfast was sufficient and varied little by the day. Parking is just next to hotel entrance.

The transportation to the cruise terminal was not set up correctly so we had to book an Uber because of the suite cases.
The location to everything I wanted to see and due also the location near the cruise terminal was within walking distance.

I thought there was too much disposible cutlery used at breakfast and I am not sure how much is recycled really. After the first day, I took my own mug and metal cutlery from the apartment down to breakfast.
I really liked staying here. It was very convenient for the Riverside walk and not far from the tram/trolley stop to Ybor City. I was here for a cruise and the hotel laid on a free bus service. You could walk to the terminal, but why get all sweaty and sticky when you can wait in the air conditioned lobby? It's a bit of a track walking to Downtown, so taking the tram is the easiest, if not the quickest, when you don't have your own wheels. Not a huge choice of restaurants near by but Sparkman Wharf is but a 10-minute on foot where you can find some interest street food. The pool looked very nice, although I didn't get a chance to use it. The breakfast wasn't bad, either

I just don't like paying $30.00 per night for parking. I feel that is extremely expensive and should be much less especially when I had to park the car myself.
Breakfast was good and met our expectations. The ladies that worked the breakfast area were exceptional. Thye were very attentive and helpful.

Had issues with our toilet not flushing properly, it was resolved after a couple visits from maintenance. Carpets were wet from elevator hallway to our door, otherwise we had no issues. Very accommodating other than we wanted to watch our son play hockey in Michigan but we couldn’t connect or phone to any tvs to mirror or stream the game. Only thing to make things better is if they offered hotel to airport transportation for free. Front desk did arrange taxi transportation for us but was double what we paid the weekend before.
Accommodations for 6 adults coming off a cruise.

The location is very convenient. 5-minute walking distance to the free Teco line streetcar. A free tram that goes from Ybor City to downtown Tampa. We did not need our car for the entire stay.

One elevator was not working. Long delays to go up and down. Shuttle service to the port was way more than every 10 min the front desk mentioned. After 30 min we walked and still beat people we met in line for shuttles
We enjoyed the location, the cleanliness of the area and the pub a block away.

Checked in the day before our cruise. Only 0.2 miles from the port, and they have a shuttle, which was easy and speedy and organized. Location was great, we walked around a couple of blocks close to the Hilton. Many shops, bars and great food that day and had a great time. For cruising out of Tampa, go the day before (which is always smart anyway) and enjoy a day in downtown Tampa.

Our room was clean. Close to a CVS. We needed travel size items for our cruise so the CVS was clutch. They also offer a shuttle to the cruise port that leaves at 10am. Everything was amazing.
