Our room smelt like animal piss that lingered heavily and we notified staff but they told us its a pet friendly hotel. Which yes but the smell could be dealt with as well. And breakfast the food was weird textured like rubber. Also the layout to enter the building and park was confusing because of the construction.

Loved the layout of the room and the pool as well.

Pick up location was confusing to Uber drivers. Price/value was just okay.

Fairly close to University of Arizona. Hotel staff were friendly & helpful. Room was clean & comfortable. Breakfast buffet was good. Snacks available for purchase. Close to the free transit to get to restaurants & shops.

The downtown location did result in some night-time noise.

If you want to be downtown, the property is ideally located. The rooms are spacious with plenty of amenities and comfortable beds.

Having to pay $20 per day to park? For $150 a night, parking should be included.

I dislike the way in which one of the female employees treated me. Since the moment I went in the hotel, she made a face and when I asked to a male employe If I was able to utilize my apple pay card, which in linked to my cellphone but I never received the car, this female employee got into our conversation interrupting and with a rude tone of voice said “no and it’s policy.” Which I totally understand, but then, I asked If I was able to be moved to a closer floor, instead of floor #5th and agained, she interrupted and said no with her high tone of voice and making faces. To be honest, I was about to leave the property and my friend even noticed the same thing about the rudeness of the female employee. I am not going back thanks to her.

I like the location. It is nearby downtown and popular places in walking distance. The price of the night was affordable.

There was no free parking, we had to pay to stay in the adjacent parking structure that was rather small.

Hotel was located near things, not far from shops and restaurants. There was a large church across the street that looked interesting.

Everything at the “snack bar” was way over priced. Paid like $30 for 3 snacks and 2 bottle of soda. A bottle of water was $6.

I instantly felt comfortable walking in the front door. Rooms were also very comfortable. Friendly staff. Smoke free.

Paper plates and cups at the breakfast seemed out of place for such a high quality hotel. The labels of 'recycled' seemed like green-washing to me. It feels so wasteful to be throwing away such a large amount of plastic and paper after each breakfast. I would have preferred real crockery.

Very good suite for a business stay in Tucson. Close to the streetcar, and easy to get around. I also appreciated the laundry facilities.

The pillows were not supportive. When I laid down, my head went right to the mattress. It was like a maze in the building. We were on the 5th floor, but the parking garage only went to the 2nd floor? Some of exit doors didn't lead to the garage. It was just confusing for a first time stay.

The breakfast could use a little more flavor. It was somewhat bland.

I just stayed here a few weeks earlier with my husband for our anniversary and liked it so much, I chose it for this business stay to host an open house for two rental properties. The night before, I inquired at the front desk how to print flyers for my event. The lady gave me a card with an email address on it, and said to send to them and they'd print for 25 cents a copy. In the morning, I emailed the flyers to address and went downstairs to collect. The new woman at the front desk couldn't care less. She just got there and had things to do before she could print anything for me, and told me how easy the self-print option was and that I should do it myself. I told her that no one informed me about any self-printer and showed her the card with the email address. She finally printed one copy begrudgingly but they were off-scale, like something was wrong with her printer so I decided to try the 'easy' self-print option. See picture of steps below. Once you email it from your room, there are SIX STEPS required for printing. It wasn't intuitive so I still needed her help. She walked me through all the steps, then I asked how I could print 80 copies but she said it only prints one at a time. In other words, I was going to have to EMAIL IT 80 TIMES and then do each of the 6 STEPS 80 MORE TIMES EACH. I asked her if she could just take the printed one and copy it for me. She did so begrudgingly and said she was going to charge me 25 cents each. During this stressful event on the morning of my open house, I relayed to her my positive hotel experience at my last open house. I stayed at the Varsity Clubs of America (Speedway/Alvernon) and all I had to do was email them the flyers. They then printed them all with a smile and it was totally free and super easy. She couldn't care less. Next time I'm in Tucson on business, I will definitely stay at the Varsity Clubs.

It's a nice hotel in a great location but it is for pleasure trips only. I would suggest avoiding it for any business trips, as per my 'didn't likes' below.

Overall, I liked the hotel and would stay here again. My only negative was the water pressure in the shower could've been better. Also, the breakfast was very average but it was free so that was a plus. Note the additional charge for parking in the fine print.

The rooftop pool overlooking the cathedral was great. Our bed was very comfortable and we had a great night's sleep. The location was close walking distance to several bars and restaurants. The parking was covered which was great because it was 110 degrees. I would stay here again. It was a good value for the money.
