How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Water went off twice in the morning with no explanation. It was a Sunday so I assume it was some kind of emergency repair, not regular maintenance, but it made it tricky to get ready.
Very friendly staff. A bit pricey for the level of accommodations but it was early August so they get peak season rates. Decent continental breakfast plus a waffle maker. Not fancy, but comfortable, clean and quiet. Easy access to the highway for through travelers and only a few minutes drive to restaurants and beach.

No elevators! I have a condition that does not allow me to use stairs. It was a real problem. Also breakfast could have been better. I was looking for scrambled eggs and sausage or an omlette, not waffles and hard-boiled eggs.
Close to I-75. Also close to Mullett Lake where we were going. Beds were comfortable.

Was in room 128 which leads out to the back door. Somebody kept slamming the back door until like 3:30 AM in the morning and it was a loud boom that would wake you up and keep you awake. There must be a crackhead living in there she didn’t have any teeth. It’s real Young kept coming in and out all night long slamming the door had a case of beer by the back door. Other than that it was a wonderful place. Need to address the problem if you want people to stay there.

They need new linens, they were quite stained and some dirtiness missed in bathroom.
Close to town and interstate. Good Continental breakfast. Really nice hot tub and pool.

Perfect location for attending our grandson's football game, which was right down the road at the local high school. Rooms were clean, quiet, and comfortable. We would stay here again.

All was great!
Location right off the highway was nice. Front desk staff and cleaning staff were very friendly. The cleaning staff really was working hard. Saw one lady sweeping the doorway areas keeping the exits clean. Ran into her again at another door later and she was super friendly. Pool and hot tub were nice.

The price is about all.
At first I thought, OMG, what a dump but, I quickly learned the entire hotel was under renovation hence the shoddy appearance. By the time we got back from dinner, the carpet installers had finished, cleaned up and left for the day. Our room was actually very nice and the continental breakfast was as good as any I have had anywhere. The room rate was a bit high but overall worth the price. That’s it✌️

Dogs- it is fine to be pet friendly but owners allowed barking, long leashes.

The screeching while taking a shower
Location is right off the exit. We didn't partake in breakfast because we slept in. Our room was cozy but there was a screeching sound when you took a shower. Other than that we loved the hotel. Staff was very pleasant

The rooms were stuffy even with the air on. Everything felt humid and wet in our room. The beds were very uncomfortable.
The pool, the location, the friendly staff, breakfast was good. Loved the play area outside for the kids.

Renovation wasn’t complete hallways had bad smells but that will gone once the hallways are done.
The rooms were all newly renovated, and the location was convenient to the expressways and yet not in a busy loud downtown area.

The only down side I suppose was the odor from paint and new carpet from the new construction which wasn’t really a downside just an inconvenience which was easily remedied by opening the window to air out the room. Not a true negative!

Under construction so plaster dust everywhere in the halls and the towels were dingy white & stained.
