Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

A bit noisy during late evening hours, but quiet by 11:pm. No breakfast.
Room was maintained very well and clean. My stay involved 8 nights and staff did an excellent job keeping the room refreshed and clean. The outside pool and courtyard was maintained exceptionally well.

it seemed kind of sketchy at night time, people just hanging around outside and drinking.
The rooms are nice and mine was clean. housekeeping came often and asked if we needed anything and that was really nice.

Room was cold when we arrived took awhile to heat up. No indoor pool option, and no continental breakfast. Even fruits and juice and coffee would be a nice touch. The tv was not easy to use, not alot of stations and internet spotty. But all in all not the worst experience I've ever had.
Room was clean and near where we needed to go, kellogg arena. Good parking and well lit.

The room was freezing when we got there due to the heat being off. A sign was on the door stating that they wanted us to turn off heat/ac when not in the room - um, no. The WiFi only benefited one person in the room while the other two had either weak or no signal. Very scratchy towels, some with stains, and poor DIY leak fixes were annoying, but not as annoying as walking into a cold room in the middle of February.
We liked the beds and that there was a refrigerator. The color scheme was pleasant.

I was blown away. you can’t judge a book by its cover. Red Roof did a wonderful job making all the rooms modernized with furniture, beds, etc. Underrated

Towels were dirty I had to out to purchase my own towels. Overall this place is disgusting .
Absolutely nothing to love. The place was full of mold in the bathroom ceiling, garbage everywhere. The room smell like mold. The next door people were smoking meth. Nothing like the picture shows. Not a happy experience

Microwave was not working properly. Hot water was hit and miss, but in defence of the facility it was full and we all get back from work around the same time.

Stayed here for a while and had one of the shelves fall off of the wall. Asked for maintenance for over a week to come and fix it and nothing has happened about it.
Conveniently located next to everything you'd need to enjoy your stay!

I work night shift and I sleep during the day so I have to deal with housekeeping waking me up every day which I understand they’re just doing their job but my wife travels with me so she takes care of our housekeeping needs and I tell them no not today I work nights so I sleep during the day have told them this for 3 days straight and the 4th day told them the same thing and they proceeded to try to come in my room anyway and when the door come flying open I had to get a little aggressive with them to make them understand
I love the Home Towne Studios Rooms they are awesome rooms I have nothing bad to say about that part the rooms are clean some of the cleanest I’ve stayed in
