How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Nice breakfast area but out of everything atleast 30 min before breakfast ended. Staff noticed but did not care.
Newly renovated, nice decor, spacious room and comfy bed.

The scrambled eggs for breakfast were nasty!! The shower was not as hot as I like it! It was hotter at 7:00am on the last day however.

The hotel is undergoing renovations and is under construction, so we needed to wind through a mess before we got to our renovated room in the back of the property. Also there were no ice machines on the property. However, one staff member did get me some ice from the kitchen for our evening cocktails.
Our room was recently updated and was nice, clean, and roomy. Staff was friendly. Free breakfast was good.

Needs upgrading, pretty warn down. And we got a note from the hotel just before arrival that we need masks etc because of Covid, so this was NOT up to date!!

I am a nurse, 20 years in. I am a man about 6 feet tall also 77 years old. The height of the toilet may keep me with second thoughts about booking again. Being old has its own elimination challenges, but the shortness cut the ability to defecate by in effect creating an unworkable funnel. Too short a commode is unhealthy. Before I book again I’ll ask if the handicapped room with the higher one is available, this may mend the dilemma.
Two TVs very comfortable bed, big microwave. Dishes & stove top with pans. Very clean. Wasn’t anticipating this. Stayed st the Hilton Anatole and the room and accommodations were most similar and Homewood’s bed was more comfortable. Large pillows too

I would have like to be closer to the exit door for my pet. But I was accommodated nicely on ground floor. Overall, good experience.

Not a thing we didn't like! Liked everything about my experience.
Very clean and great amenities. Love the suite and how the room is set up. Staff was wonderful. Great place to stay, especially for families! Very affordable.

I feel like the property needed a little updating. It looked old and could really benefit from some care on the inside of the rooms. The heat was really up high so at least we could open a window that had a screen. Felt like staff could be a bit more friendly, although two of the guys bid us a hardy thank you and good bye..
I liked the quietness of the suite. Didn't realize it was a suite until we got there. Nice kitchen facility and roomy in the bedroom. Liked the breakfast.. Appreciated the water when we arrived.

The lobby floor was visibly dirty and there were bags of trash outside peoples doors in the hallways. Also, a lady at the front desk made us wait for her oncoming co-worker to arrive in order for us to check out. Kind of unprofessional. When we checked in it took 45 minutes of waiting in line because no one was at the front desk.
Breakfast was good - really like all of the options they had. The bed was also comfy, and our room was quiet

Housekeeping skipped 1 day and decided to clean our room after 3:00 pm after we returned from a day out. Sheets were basically a mattress pad with 3more mattress pads as top sheet, blanket & comforter.
Location was good with access to main roads.

Could have been cleaner. Linens had hair on them luckily I brang my own blankets. Just dirty basic cleaning between people needs deep cleaned
