The room was not clean at all. There seemed to be throw up on the pillows, curtains and couch. It smelled very closed in, not fresh at all.

I liked that the pool was warm. We had a good view. The rooms were pretty roomy. Our bathroom was pretty clean.

The breakfast was 1/10 horrible I’ve never seen oatmeal that had water floating on top like soup and the grits were way undercooked and gritty hard…the eggs was watery too…only thing was fresh was muffins and coffee unfortunately…

The showers door was broken, and chairs in the kitchen were very old and peeling. The couch was not as it should be. Also, the towels did not smell fresh. And the bed sheets had brown stains .

The lady at the front desk was rude I let her know I had a reservation she act as if she could find it I gave her a confirmation number and all she still couldn't find it asking dumb questions like when did u book it does it matter if I have a confirmation number u should see it so the other lady said it's there she pulled it up

The kitchen is functioning and yet needs a bit of facelifting. The stove was rusty, but we made do. Like I mentioned, the people there will make you feel at home, so overall, we loved our stay! Thank you (Shanika). Sorry if I misspelled your name.

Every single staff we met and interacted at the hotel made us feel at home. They were pleasant to carry a conversation with and help us with our needs during our stay. The light bulb of the floor lamp in our room was missing. The staff was so quick to fix it for us. The best part is the pool and basketball court where kids get to play together. It is close enough to places we wanted to visit, e.g., Stax MuseumGraceland, as well as to phamercy, stores, and restaurants. The choices at breakfast were fantastic, fresh with lots of varieties!!!

Room I booked was not available so they gave us two rooms! I was happy about that. Unfortunately they were far from each other. We were traveling with our children and the second room was musty and smelled like weed. Thankfully, the one bedroom ended up being big enough for our family and we were comped the difference. The only complaint about the room we stayed in was there were leftovers from Olive Garden from the previous guests in the refrigerator . We did make front desk aware of above complaints.

Pool looked well maintained. Numerous grills to use if you didn’t feel like going to dinner, which were right by the pool. The one bedroom suite has a full size refrigerator, two burner electric oven, dishwasher and sink. Great if you have kids and/or staying numerous nights. Big lobby for breakfast, which was included in the stay! Breakfast included a waffle bar, eggs, sausage, hot and an assortment of cold cereals, yogurt and assortment of bakery/breads, and of course juices and coffee Location was about 25 mins to Beale St but not a bad drive.

The front desk clerk at 10 pm was very rude and did not offer any help. There was no soap for the shower, no plastic cup for bathroom vanity, no dish soap or sponge for kitchenette. The coffee bar in the lobby was awful.

The furniture was old and peeling. The couch had hair weave sticking out of it and was sunk in. The room was not clean as there was crumbs, and shot glass, and sunflower seeds under the furniture. The amount of money that was spent definitely did not match in quality.

We went to pick up a pizza & upon returning.only to find security with a barricade for some reason & perplexed as to our names were not listed on the room. We were able to park & go inside to see why that was so. As we entered to speak to the front desk the person who checked us in. We inquired as to why our names on the room that we paid for. He comes back in and says that he forgot & told the person at the front desk to give us a parking decal. I still would like to know why was our room not in our names or why we were not given a decal aware that there their security would be on the property every night?

OK at check-in I had already pre-paid and Per checking in. I was asked for my drivers license and my  card of payment and I explain to the young lady that I already have pre-paid so I was charged for another customers room. It was a very confusing situation. Any apologies or did she suggest any way to try to fix it?

The rooms were very spacious and clean. The patio area outside was very nice and the lobby area was very open and spacious lots of seating area.

My money being blocked on card and not yet released and available for me

Overall I am happy with stay in Homewood but my issue is that they have blocked money against my booking thrice out of which one was paid on actuals but still around 2000 dollars is blocked and not yet released and I being new to US facing money challenges due to that money not yet released. Need someone to look urgently into this matter to release the blocked money back to my card

First off I like Homewood suites but at this location, They take out $100 for incidentals. then the room was thrashed. the curtains were tore, the carpet nails were exposed so you got to step on nails if you forgot that area was exposed. the toilet paper holder was broken. The chairs were worn. So I went down the next day and showed them my pictures so I wouldn’t be charged. She said the would fix the carpet but no one ever came. the laundry facility was a joke. It always smelled of Marihuana. Oh and breakfast was the worst at this location than any other one. So bad that the next day we opted to go eat at IHOP.

I liked that we had 2 rooms and a fold out couch. the king bed was nice and comfortable.

I did not like the fact that I asked for a high floor and extra pillows but didn't receive those options. I smelled marijuana the whole time we were there and the bathroom was not clean. We had to ask for the pillows and linens for the sofa bed while others I've stayed with had the items in the closet.

The location was just where we needed to be. It was pretty close to everything so we didn't have to go far. The room was very quiet and spacious. The price of the room was okay despite the minor dislikes I had with the room.
