The pool was dirty and looked like it hadn't been maintained for weeks . No way to get food or beverage if someone was not at the front desk. No vending.

No breakfast served. I’m picky about my pillows and usually bring my own but didn’t this time. I wish I would have.

Close to beach. Just a short walk. Very easy access. The room was quiet. No excess noise from neighbors. It may be where our room was situated, we were on 4th floor and end of hall. Staff was very nice and very helpful when we needed to check out a day early. Rhonda the manager was more than helpful.

The location was great! The weather was not great but because the hotel is so close to the beach we could make the most of the sunshine we did get!

small things that would in no way effect our decision to stay again- the ironing board was very small and didn’t always lock into place- in the afternoons there was a slight sewage like smell in the bathroom (we were in the first floor)- the restaurant was only opened for breakfast and a late dinner (8-11 I think) and was expensive (again- we were close to many eating options so that was no issue for us)

the location was perfect- on the island- close to the beach and to bars/restaurants. every staff member we interacted with was very friendly and helpful. the room was very clean and comfortable. there was an a/c vent in the dressing area which was amazing when drying your hair!! there was a magnifying mirror helpful when applying makeup. the pool was great - there were ample towels and there was music playing- parking was a little limited but there was an overflow lot so no problem at all (and it was free)

Parking is limited. The hotel is older, but clean. Deodorizer in the hallway would be helpful for foul odors. The room was lacking a closet. A wardrobe cabinet was available, but limited in space.

Only thing bad was that some moron was smoking pot on the same floor a few rooms over. Not the hotel's fault but that made the stay less enjoyable. luckily couldn't smell it in our room.

Nice location right by the beach. Large room with jacuzzi and ocean view. (upgraded) Bed very comfortable. patio outside the room was great.

Timing wise- we missed out on experiencing La Covina International as our stay included Monday- when it was closed.

Size, as we are not fans of large properties. Colocated gym was nice and pool and hot tub were a bonus though it was unseasonably cool during our trip.

The bed was almost intolerable. It was very hard and you could feel the springs. Hard to sleep on. The bedspread was not covered and had stains on it. Hard to tell if was washed after each guest stay.
