Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

That the parking was first come first served.
The rooms are a perfect size for 2 people. Very nicely decorated and high end decor. I enjoyed my stay.

they were skimpy with towels - we had to justify a clean towel each day which is annoying paying 300 a night, give us towels and hand towels for drying our hands. plus quality of them was cheap, no one is going to steal the towels!

The second room didn't have a TV in it. And the queen bed was sunk in.
It was very clean. TV had a lot of channels and access to streaming apps

We were reminded to leave a tip for the housekeeper.
I like it that even if I book one room only with 2 beds, my sister got a separate room inside and I sleep.in another bed placed outside of the enclosed room.so we have privacy. The room is clean and very tidy. We are happy with our stay.

There was an alley on the side of the building and therefore you could hear banging and whatever else was going on in the next building. The walls were definitely thin, and you could hear the people talking in the room above us.
The location was awesome! Near the pier, shopping, restaurants, beach and grocery store. The bed was comfortable, but the little square pillows were not comfortable.

I did not like that there were no waters in the room and the vending machine was not working when I tried to use it.
My room was 120. The room was nice and mostly clean. The bed skirt looked like it had some stains on it. The shower handle was loose and was slightly difficult to get to a good temperature. The towels were kind of hard one had stain on it.

Felt like there was a lot of "nickel and diming", didn't like the extra $10 per person per night charge, I've never had a hotel do that before. Even with the extra charge, we did not get any extra amenities (i.e. toilet paper and towels) to support the extra people in our room; had to ask for them, and they still didn't bring enough to get us through our stay. The early check-in fee was extreme, so we decided to do a late check-in, which was an inconvenience, although minor. The nightly rate seemed to be elevated from what I would've expected, but we were there for a music festival and there was a large convention taking place, so paying higher prices during those times is common.
Great location, easy access to the main parts of Long Beach. Room was good and clean, had a second room attached, which was great for my son and his girlfriend staying with us.

Every morning from 9am to 2pm some very loud equipment was running on the hotel premises.

price was pretty crazy for what is essential a motel. outside entrances, a six foot square “lobby.” They charged me extra to check into my room 2 hours early even though it was clean and ready.

Shower stall is claustrophobic feeling and still had hair, soap, and what appeared to be snot on the wall. Definitely felt a little unsafe to walk outside after dark.
Very close to the beach and walking distance (or ride scooters) to the mall and food options. Not a lot of shopping options at the mall but numerous food choices.

Bathroom was a bit tiny. Some sketchy people around ( occasionally). Almost like a "Motel" type of accommodation. It doesn't give a feel of a "Hotel".
Very clean, safe, close to the Long Beach, Bars, Restaurants, Downtown, grocery store ( Vonx?), on Ocean Boulevard, close to the convention center/Theater, and staff is amazing ( although all males). Beds were very comfortable, AIR CONDITIONNING system was awesome :)
