How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

How many druggies that hung out at the steps. Found lots of used syringes was at the bottom of the stair well

Because it’s extended stay the lobby is closed in the a.m. until 9. As we were getting ready to leave at 8 a.m. we accidentally closed our card keys inside the room. Everything was in there, including phones. Luckily we found an emergency phone outside the lobby and someone came out and made us a new key. Whew.
The location was very advantageous to our plans

The staff was nice. The rooms are run down. I paid $122 for each night. We should had breakfast. Iron, and iron board it seems the facility don't offer bare essentials anymore. It was emergency stay so it worked for the five days

That they no longer provide pots and all the other stuff that comes with the kitchen you got to pay for them and I don't think you can keep them there plumbing sucks bad

It wasn't a "nice" room. Not dirty, but definitely dingy. I was so uncomfortable on the bed. No coffee making facility in the room, forcing me to go out and get coffee in the morning. Even a small drip maker in the room would be helpful. There are no dishes or cooking stuff, although I guess that's not what an extended stay hotel has anymore? I suppose people steal things. Not a terrible room, but not a comfortable one, either. For the price and the location in the city, I suppose it was adequate.

Gruff front desk staff; inconsistent acceptance of credit/debit cards, rooms I've recently reserved didn't have microwaves, room floors need cleaning, no more morning coffee, there is now a charge for utensils.
Good location, Decent rooms w/ comfortable beds, reasonable price, onsite laundry.

The lady at the front desk in the morning was so super rude. I didn't like how she spoke to me with a lobby full of people. I felt that was very unprofessional. She made it a point to pick something about every person in line. This was the 2 nd day of dealing with her in the morning.. EVERY person that walked out of the office was complaining about how they were treated and felt disrespected by her. I would have stayed for a few weeks with you guys. But not with her working. On top of the fact she said I can't rent there any more? They are fixing my AC at my apartment on 36 Street snd Thomas. So your location was a perfect match for my boyfriend and I. I was also going to tell all the other tenants to come to your location cuz it's so convenient. The city is going to put us up until our apartments are cooled off. We have stayed one night checked in about midnight and tried to renew first thing in the morning after I had paid for the room through booking.com. I drove to my apartment to pick up my dog and my boyfriend went down to renew the room I saw that it said your location is pet friendly if so he was going to ask to pay the pet deposit even though our dog is a service dog because I am partially blind. But the lady at the front desk told us that we were not allowed to rent anymore because we had the dog on property all I was doing was walking her and getting ready to move out of the room or see if we could still stay in that room if it was pet friendly. The lady was so rude she yelled and screamed told us we had 10 minutes to get off the property and I lost my money?
I liked the room, the location, price, the fact there is a qt across from the street is awesome!

I didn't like the lady in the front desk that works in the morning. She was very rude and not accommodating.

Desk Attendant had an attitude. Please make up your minds about what credit/debit cards you take. When presenting my credit union debit card, which I had used several times at this Extended stay, attendant said 'we don't take those kind of cards' but couldn't explain the issue with the card. She ended up accepting the card. 2 of the last 3 rooms I've gotten have not been equipped with microwaves. No more coffee in the morning.
Location, comfortable beds, refrigerator, nice television. Good parking.
