How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The facility was outdated. The pools were unclean. And they no longer have a Jacuzzi, which is stated in the description of the place.

This was my second time going there. First time with my small family then came back with my sister and her family a total of two rooms. It was disappointing when we went to the restaurant and was told in an attitude that they were only serving pizza, and on top of that it was cash only. I was looking forward to the full happy hour menu we had last time and had to look for a way to pay for the pizza since it was cash only. Very inconvenient. Not happy at all. The club was the same. Cash only..this was very disturbing.

Verified reviewWe traveled several hours for an event and tried to call from the road about an early check-in. We couldn’t reach anyone and to find out the phones were down. We went out of our way and went directly to the hotel and they said we can check in early for a 25.00 fee. If we had talked to someone on the road and found out about the fee we wouldn’t have gone early. The room was ready so we were very disappointed we had to pay that fee. The receptacle and hair dryer did not work in our bathroom. We would be happy if that fee could be refunded.

Verified reviewI loved the room with the balcony so I could see the water. The room was spacious and clean with an amazing sized jacuzzi. I also enjoyed the dual walk in shower. The breakfast was very good as well.
I didn't like that 4 of the 6 jets were broken in the jacuzzi. I also didn't like that the indoor pool and fitness center were closed.

The facilities were dirty, no hot water, no internet, no fitness room. We did not receive room service when putting the sign on the door multiple days. When telling maintenance about our water issue, they didn’t send someone until 11:30PM!! We have 2 babies under 2 and they were sleeping.

Swimming pool indoor and gym closed. This was not communicated during or after booking. We discoved it just after checking in. We chose this hotel because of the pool to have one day of relax before flying back to Europe. No internet in the hotel due to a failure. We had to check in for our flights with some difficulties. Water was leaking from the ceiling of the corridor. Staff at reception did not make any effort to compensate or help for all these problems
