How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The breakfast! No milk to go with cereal. Orange juice was the only beverage, others were out of order. Of course there was coffee. The TV reception was horrible.

Attitude of clerk when she made a mistake and tried to make me feel like an idiot. I had to get my bank involved to resolve the matter.
Clean, friendly at first. Quiet. Great value.

Carpet was so dirty we had to re-wash our feet after showering and walking about the room.

The angled door to the bathroom would swing open more thank I would have liked. Only way to stop that was I had to actually close the door fully.
Room was very spacious and looked like it was almost new. Everything was arranged and felt very welcoming. Layout of the room was a bit different but it functioned very well. Location was near several places for shopping, food and gas stations.

My smoke detector kept chirping during the night
I liked the carpeted floors, the clean room, comfortable bed, the clean appliances. I enjoyed the hot breakfast.

The eggs sausage and hashbrowns were cold . Sunday morning at 8:30 there were only 2 pieces of bread hashbrowns were cold and stuck together. Breakfast really needs more attention

The ceiling above our shower had water damage and looked like it could fall down at any moment. The sink faucet appeared to have a blockage - the water shot out of one side.
My Mom really liked the breakfast. I thought that the beds were really comfortable.

I have zero complaints.
Loved the price and the location. It is an older hotel but has been fixed up. It was very clean and very comfortable.

we got the room just to get away and just to relax by the pool for a few days they let us check in early which I appreciate very much because thats the only time we got to relax by the pool was that few hours after we got there we couldn't enjoy the pool because people that wasn't even guest there kept coming in and taking the pool over I should have called and complained but I didn't want any trouble with the sketchy people that was taking the pool over we would stay there again if they got this situation under control
It was clean staff was nice breakfast was good no major complaints

There was not a coffee maker in the room. Staff said people had been stealing them. I did get a cup at the free breakfast out of the machine there, and IT WAS TERRIBLE!!! I took the packs in the room home and brewed it, and it was GODAWFUL (I believe the two sources are one in the same). This is certainly no knock on this particular property, but Choice Hotels has, without haste, look for a new source for their coffee. I did think the breakfast could have used a few more sauce choices like mustard, hot sauce, and whatnot. I am unsure if maple syrup was available.
Quiet, clean, convenient, and at a good price.

Linen on one of the bed smelled and was wrinkled. In fact all sheets were wrinkled. I don’t think the sheets were cleaned from last customer. Breakfast was so so. Juice on counter near the juice dispenser was not cleaned

The fridge was abnormally loud!
This is my second time staying at this hotel. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable.

The bath towels had stains. They had been washed, but had old stains on them.
The room was very nice and the breakfast was very good. The lighting in the room was awesome! The best I have seen in a long time.

There wasn't a blanket on the bed, just a sheet. Also, I'm 6 feet tall and had to duck a little to wash my hair in the shower.
Location was great, lots of food options and shopping nearby. Every staff member I spoke with was friendly and helpful.

Shower drain was slow, but when we told them about it when we left, they said they would take care it.

Breakfast was good except I wish they had fruit also.
Room was clean, and bed very comfortable. Lots of hot water & water pressure was good. It was very cold, and we were very glad the heater worked well.
