The condition of the room when we checked in (dirty - especially under the bed - and with broken fixtures - the cover of the door lock fell off when we used it, the TV stand was broken, the bathroom door was broken etc.) The misleading ad. the pool shown is "at one of our other properties" and for an extended stay property it was odd that there was nothing to cook with or eat off (although, to be fair, we could have got some items had we asked - we just couldn't bring ourselves to bother the front desk more than we already had) and that even the coffee pot had to be requested up front and came with a warning ("I would wash it well before using it if I were you").

The friendly front desk staff - who do an amazing job under what must be very difficult circumstances - and who really did their best to make things work. Other than that: the cost was low, the location was convenient, it does have parking, it met our basic needs as a place to sleep, and there were no signs of bed bugs or other insect pests in our room. It also could have been worse: when we were checking in another guest was trying to deal (for the second time that night) with a blocked toilet and were unable to change rooms as they had a dog and all the "pets allowed" rooms were full.

Came in already paid for it $78. Talking about it was an $100 down charge for the room, how? When I already paid for it that's messed up,dont know what people are going through that could've been my last $80 until I get paid again, Long story short gotta do better about that.

The first room given smelled like smoke. The room that was made available should have been given a deep clean. Basic Kitchen utensils, for instance plates coffee mugs and cutlery should be placed in the room. A request should not be needed for them.

The location was excellent, located opposite St. John town Centre and close to other shopping areas. The first room we were given smelled really smokey, However, I really like that another room was immediately made available. It was close to the main admin building and the bed was comfortable. It looked as was presented in the pictures online.

Checked in and found issues with the bathroom sink faucet. Reported it right away and within minutes had trouble with the bathtub faucet(initially wouldn't turn on and then my husband couldn't get it to turn off). When the issue was reported to the front desk, the young lady was not willing to offer a solution to the problem. When I suggested, we change rooms, she said there would be an increase in price. It was then I suggested she contact management. She was hesitant to do so but did do it. When the management authorized that we could get an "upgrade," there was no apology for the inconvenience. Although she is not management, she was the only person who was on site; from my perspective, this means she was the host and should have represented the company in a more professional and proactive manner.

The location was close to the Mayo Clinic.

I’ve never stayed at an extended stay so I’m not sure sure if this is normal but I do wish there was a coffee machine in the room. My only other complaint is that there were many spiders and spider webs outside the rooms and one that covered half the top half of my door frame and that was terrifying for me so maybe some pest control would help. We didn’t see any roaches walking around inside the room but there was one inside the AC unit you could see in the temperature gauge window.

The location was convenient and quiet and the bed was very comfortable. The staff was so kind and the rate was great considering the state of the place.

staff was not very friendly at all, we had several issues at check in and check out and they threatened to not let us stay there again because they had an issue with our payment, even though it had already left my bank account. just very unprofessional. Room was dirty, we found a dirty sock on the bed when we were checking for our things upon leaving. Bathroom was nasty upon arrival but we didn’t even bother reporting it, didn’t want to deal with the front desk staff.

I can't think of anything I didn't like about this place. I had no problems.

Great location lots of restaurants and grocery stores close by, (walking distance) beds were comfortable, clean room, TV was ok, decent channels selection. The front desk staff was very nice, friendly. Cold A/C. Stove burners worked well. I enjoyed the stay, it's worth a visit. Like anywhere these days, be aware of your surroundings.
