The shower water pressure was a bit low but it’s also older building so it’s to be expected.

Historical component beautifully restored. The atmosphere fit the vibe of our visit which was to learn more about our country’s history. Definitely eat at the pub/restaurant in the lower level- food was outstanding!

This is a beautiful Inn. Our friend suggested this place. We were so impressed with the beautiful interior, the paintings everywhere, and welcoming atmosphere. Our room was lovely and very clean. We also ate at the lounge downstairs. It was reasonably priced, great atmosphere, friendly service. The location of the Inn is within walking distance to all of the shops and pubs. We are definitely staying there the next time that we are in Gettysburg, PA.

Everything was Perfect

The room was very clean. All the staff from Check In to Check Out including the Restaurant were Amazing and ALWAYS offered help with anything. They couldn’t have done more for us. Centrally located to everything. Highly Recommended

Real dairy creamer for coffee, they make shelf stable half and half. That was about it!

The location was an easy walk to town. The area of town was close to the action but not as busy as the square. The room was large and spacious, as was the bathroom. Keurig machine and quality coffee in the room and lobby.

The Inn was a great value. Historic well kept and superbly managed. We really enjoyed this hotel and would stay there again without question. Probably the only place we would ever stay in Historic Gettysburg The best.

I’m disabled. I mentioned it to the front desk that the website didn’t say there was no elevator. With a second floor room it was very difficult. If I was alone I wouldn’t have been able to stay. It really needs to be clear that there’s no elevator. The toilets also very low which is hard w mobility issues. And the AC was off in the building so the room was very warm and I have a medical condition that gets worse when hot. This was a gorgeous hotel and a wonderful experience so this is just suggestions for the hotel for other disabled travellers. It was the last leg of our trip and I totally understand that some buildings can’t be Ada so we were thrilled to stay here, I just think putting it on the site would be good so disabled travelers could make a point of requesting first floor rooms.

They did not serve breakfast, but they did provide coffee and tea in the morning. There were also coffee makers if you needed any at other times of the day. There were coffee houses near by that you could walk or drive to.

Liked it all! No elevators though, so it could be a challenge for some people.

It was a lovely historical hotel, once a school. We loved the period decor and the afternoon tea / scones. It was very welcoming and the staff was well versed and willing to share information about the building. Great location for battlefield tours, and local shops.

My only concern was that there isn’t a way to access the parking lot on the right side of the building, which is the way Google Maps took us, so we had to turn around and get to the left side. Such a minor thing though :)

The room was absolutely beautiful! It was a great price. I love that the building itself has a history to it and is decorated to suit that history.
