Very strong odor of room spray so much so I couldn't sleep because my nose was burning. And the dryer could be heard from our room until 11:00 p.m..

The property is advertised as "Rodeway Inn AND SUITES." Perhaps because staff was trying to find me a room that had been made up, I wound up in a room that could have been part of a suite. The door between my room and the adjoining room, like many suite doors, could be locked from either side. And it was locked. However, the door did not muffle the sounds coming from the adjoining room. A "normal" motel room would not have that issue. I was awakened at 6:30 a.m. by sounds coming from my "suitemate's" room!

The breakfast? There was none. But I don't think the ad led me to believe that there would be breakfast. What I liked was the cooperation of the desk staff in getting me into a room at noon. I had traveled all night and was due to a memorial service at 3:00, so having a chance to nap before the service was much appreciated.

No breakfasts and the laundry facilities were down. The property was a little sketchy.. I moved our vehicle to the front parking lot instead of the back where it seemed people sling drugs at.

Everything was so beautiful!! The shower head was a rainfall showerhead, amazing, so comforting, took 2 seconds to get hot; the mirror lit up which helped me tweeze my eyebrows to the T, and there were good channels on the tv! The beds were so comfortable, there was even a fridge to keep our food cold. The staff was so nice and accommodating. One woman was hilarious.

There were several things that wasn't great. The elevator smelled of smoke. There was no breakfast continental or other. Our shower had black mold at the ceiling. Price was a bit much for what it lacked.

Convenient location to our destination. Easy access to the interstate. Check in/out was easy.

We were traveling back from Myrtle Beach, we needed somewhere to sleep for the night The hotel met my expectation. It was next to a very nice restaurant. The stay was very pleasant. Oh, I almost forgot, the Clerk was so very nice that checked us in. Very good customer service.

hotel is extremely dirty and full of homeless people. there were very few rooms available at check in and I was asked if I would take a room with out an air conditioning unit (there was a fan instead and if I open the refrigerator I should feel some relief) i ask if there was some sort of discount for the inconvenience and was told no, not since I booked with booking, had I booked with them they could have offered one. so I asked about canceling or even changing dates and again was told no, because bookings policy. so reluctantly I was lead to my room which was approx 20 feet from the front desk (remember there wasn't any key cards available) the room was very small, smelled of wet towels and the bathroom did not appear to be cleaned properly. to top it off I could hear everything that was happening at the front desk, which was a lot. music playing and guests talking. I have been here for less then an hour and I plan on leaving when I finish this email. I would greatly appreciate a full refund for my 'stay' at the Rodeway inn on Brevard road. please let me know how I should move forward with this process. thank you Terra prather

It's not the hotel's fault, but with the new North Carolina law that the water temperature can't be over 129°, hot water is scarce during peek hours. To get a mediocre shower, you have to plan your shower accordingly. The elevator doors need some fixing up from other guests carving and drawing on the doors. They shoulhsbe an automatic door opener to keep the door open to bring in luggage and fix the cracked lifted cement that makes getting the luggage cart wheels difficult to get over. Also, they should have more coffee creamer on hand.

The location was great. I was centrally located from downtown to the BluRidge Parkway. There was so much to do. The outlet mall was even less than a mile. The room was clean, comfortable, and updated. They had 2 bell hop carts to bring in your luggage. The hallways smelled fresh from plug in air freshener all throughout the hallways. The lady with the red hair at the desk was very accommodating, making sure that my stay was pleasant.
