The convenience of being where we needed to be

Cleanliness, toilet rab the whole time ,trim fell off the wall microwave didn't work

All of our family members were staying in the campgrounds behind this property so the location was great for us. The air-conditioning is really cold.

There isn't any literature on how to work the televisions and the remotes are missing the backs, the batteries kept falling out. The furnishings all need to be updated . Some detailed cleaning is needed .The hot tub isn't being taken care of at all it had a stale smell.

It was filthy.

The location was nice and the house was nice

When we got there the door was unlocked and was told they just had someone clean it but it looked like that place hasn't been clean in years and there was mice poop in the cabinets and the shower curtains needs to be changed they were molded and my son ran around in the house and his feet was black as if no one cleaned it and there was gum in one of the chairs in the kitchen the hot tub was dirty it would be a better place to stay if the house was cleaned properly

Nice Location ! everything is close by it. and specially by the RIVER so beautiful sound of running water all the time. I will definitely recommend to stay. clean rooms.

This cabin was the ultimate escape and perfect for my family! It offers stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere with the river running right behind the cabin. The space is cozy, beautifully decorated, and recently upgraded with farmhouse touches. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and thoughtful, ensuring we had everything we needed without being intrusive. Everything was working perfectly, and we purposely left attractions early to spend more time enjoying the cabin!! Whether relaxing by the fire or enjoying the river, this place has it all. Will come back soon—10/10!

Location was good

It was dirty, smelled like fish and cigarettes, the hot tub wasn't working and it didn't have a foose ball table and there wasn't any firewood

The location. The back porch. That’s it completely.

It was very dirty. Mold on the mattress in the pull out. Both pull out sofas were broken. Mold coming out from under the shower wall. The bathroom in the shower in the back of the house the handle would fall off when you touched it. Remote controls didn’t work. Found a cockroach in the freezer. Cabinets were very dirty as was the stove, microwave, and coffee maker. Outside if trash can was filthy. Shower curtains both had mold along the bottom of them. Buildup in corners very bad. Food under couches and coffee table.

The location was great. The open layout of the property and the size of the property was nice. The cabin-like interior was welcoming. The river stream behind the property was nice along with the outside firepit.

The property needs a good cleaning. The floors did not appear to be swept, the showers had dust on the ledges, and there was a good bit of wood scraps under the porch. There were only two rolls of toilet tissue in the entire house. For a family of 6, we used one roll within one day and had to go buy more. The remote for the TV in the living room would not control the TV. I had to download an app on my phone to be able to use the TV. The shower handle for one of the bathrooms would fall off. This place has a ton of potential with just a little bit of attention.

Location was great but did not stay!

Rodent infestation! Literally found a dead rat floating in the toilet! The moment I walked in there were rat droppings all over the house! Even droppings on the dining table! Terrible

This property needs lots of updates. Hot Tub did not work !! Couldn't set Temperature to our liking. Not enough flatware or silverware for party of 8. Sleeper/sofa bed was broken at the bottom & had to prop up, The cushions on both sofas were stained. One had what looked like blood on it. Mold in the washer dispenser. One morning we saw 2 RATS in the kitchen. All I heard the entire trip was complaints. I respectfully request $350.00 be returned, We did occupy the property and the Location was great . Only 2.8 miles to MOUNTAIN MIST WEDDING VENUE where my granddaughter was married on Saturday.

The property was easily accessible! Location was wonderful.

The ad stated there was a hot tub. Even when I received confirmation, it stated hot tub was accessible. The main reason we even rented this place. Just to come to find out it was not. The owner stated it was being “winterized”. I didn’t quite understand bc the winter is when you like to use a hot tub.. I’ve rented many times during this season and a hot tub has always been available. This was a HUGE disappointment. There were rat feces all in thr kitchen. On the table, in the cabinets, and on the microwave area. Another huge disappointment .

location was the only good thing about it

the hot tub was advertised and it didn't work, beds were hard as a rock, floors were very dirty, a lot of little maintenance things were not being done, light in bathroom didn't work, there was no bath tub, sheets were very used, TV remotes didn't work, no outside trash can, outside was not maintained and there was a lot of trash and broken wood with nails by the fire pit, texted owner and they said they didn't have a hot tub and didn't advertise a hot tub but the welcome message and site showed and said there was a hot tub. sheets were also stained and of need of replacing

Th location was perfect and was able to walk to most of the entertainment.

I didn't think to buy creamer and sugar before hand.

Location of cabin

The inside and outside of cabin was very disgusting and unclean. I have contacted booking.com and am in the process of sending them pictures and an email of how disgusting the cabin was. We literally had to go to Walmart and buy cleaning supplies and spent the first 4 hours of our vacation cleaning the cabin and also had to strip beds and wash all linens and towels as they all were dirty. Stove was disgusting we had purchased $200 in groceries to cook but decided to eat out because of how disgusting stove and kitchen were, There were no dishrags and or towels in kitchen. The curtains in every room did not fit the windows and the back door that you use (which faces the busy street) had no curtain so of a night people could see right in. Couches were disgusting I literally covered them with blankets for us to sit on them, I removed couch pillows all together because of how dirty they were. Main bathroom exhaust fan and light for shower didn't work, shower drain metal cover was not attached, shower curtain had mold on it and there was no where to sit your bathroom essentials (no cabinets). The towels and wash rags that were provided were suppose to be white but were a light brown (we went and bought our own to use) Outside of cabin was trashy I mean literally trash. Owner messaged us 2 hours before arrival to tell us that hot tub did not work and that you are not allowed to park under the carport. (2 things that were never mentioned in the process of booking.) When we arrived I took pictures of everything and sent him a reply text and never got a response so I tired to call and never got a return call as well. We tried to find a different place to stay but everything was booked or we would have left.

I liked that the place was by the lake and close to stores, restaurants and parks

I did not like the customer service from the Host. Very Rude and unhelpful not even trying to hear me out just cut me off from speaking and telling me to sue him just because I asked for clarification about the place. The place did not meet my expectations due to half of the cabin had no lights in the rooms, hallways and other bathroom. They lied about the Hot tube and had broken appliances. I asked the host for help and answered with “Sue me Then!” To not ruin my stay, I just ended up having to deal with what we had and make the best out of it because I was honestly scared the host would come by and kick us out just because “he could”. The main reason I chose this cabin was because it had a Hot tub. Unfortunately it never worked and I fell for it. Please look at reviews before wasting money!

The place needed lots of work the couches was all stained up the bathroom doors wouldn’t lock the shelf under the tv was ripped out of the wall cobwebs was in the corners of the ceiling the floors had not been mopped the kid feet was black from walking on them after they had baths the shower curtains was too short so you had to clean up water out of the floor after each shower and the hot tub had no water and was full of mud and leaves

My family absolutely loved the house it was beautiful. The river was so peaceful and my kids loved playing in the river. We also loved being so close to shops.

Well the down fall was the hot tub wasn't working and we didn't learn that until the day we was to come up ONE OF THE MAIN REASON WE BOOKED HERE only other thing is the remote controls didn't work

hot tub on porch didn't work, router holder was falling off wall, both shower handles came off in hand when turning on or off water, drain in bath room was not bolted on and keep coming off, stove was so nasty u couldn't cook in oven and stove pans were nasty and covered in foil

clean up outside and make sure everything works as it should,and I think owner should pay for propane so all can use it .
