parking, got double parked in hotel lot and had to have staff find car owner, call their room and have them come and move their car to leave, - and had to pay extra for parking at the hotel parking lot

Room was well lived in. Not as nice as pictures. TV too close to couch. Live only.a mile away but had to pay $20 for parking. No free onsite parking.

The room was clean with all the kitchen amenities and everything preserved in it so it was value for money, and the staff was helpful as when we when it was 25th December and everything was closer to help us to find out where the restroom is going to be open and what could be available that night so that was helpful

If there was one thing to improve, it would be the condition of the bed pillows. Investing in new ones would be a huge plus as they were a little old and worn.

From check in to check out, what an amazing experience! Bobby at the front desk was awesome. Room was clean, bright and even smelled clean. Loved the set up of the room. Hotel was quiet. No issues whatsoever.

Some of the lights did not work, outlets were over-used (plugs would not stay in them), shower stall dimly lit and sticky door

The room was not clean: black mold in the shower, bed sheets with blood stains, kitchen cabinets and refrigerator were all stained.

Location was fabulous with good restaurants within easy walking distance. And many of Pittsburgh's go to places are within about 2 -3 miles driving distance. One of the elevators was not working the three days I was there, which was an annoyance. Staff were mostly lovely and friendly, saving the guy in the bar when I went to get a cocktail when they opened. He was not cordial bordering on condescending. Otherwise, desk staff were lovely. Breakfast was good - did the job. Staff at breakfast were very attentive and made sure everything was well supplied. Coffee was excellent. The big test is, would I stay there again at that price point. Absolutely.

Daily $20. seperate parking charge for guests. There was a slight smell (odor) near the bed. A musty almost urine smell on occasion. It could not be detected whether it was from the carpeted area near the nightstand or the mattress itself. This was not appreciated. Also, we did not ask (forgot) for daily housekeeping, and our room was not serviced, which was somewhat disappointing.

South Side Hyatt Place Pittsburgh, had nice outdoor areas. The size of the suite was exceptional. We liked the stocked kitchenette, with glassware, plates etc. The ADA bathroom was designed well and worked fantastic. View was really good and a very nice bonus. The bed was extremely comfortable. We find Hyatt usually has very comfortable beds, and we're happy to have had a very good one this stay. Included breakfast was very well stocked and well maintained, with very good selections.
