Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The location is amazing! We walked through all of uptown Sedona. You can’t beat the view from the pool!

Agreed to attend their Hyatt Vacation Club Timeshare seminar which was quite good but at the end when we declined to purchase they said they ran out of visa gift cards that we were promised for attending and it’s been over 2 months and have still not received them…bad customer service!
Spacious one bedroom unit…told it was recently renovated but kitchen and bathroom was outdated Location is amazing with plenty of parking

The pool and surroundings
Room was adorable and clean. Location good, but you are truly in the middle of everything. A little chaotic driving in and out of there. View was magnificent from the pool area.

The pool heater was down and one of the hot tubs jets weren't working. There was construction going on out the back of our room and this happened to be the view off our balcony, instead of the views of Sedona.
We loved the location. Everything was very clean and the staff was kind and helpful.

The property had a strong paint smell that overwhelmed our experience as an asthmatic not great. Should have been aired prior to renting out.

Not a great value for the money. I would look at other places nearby if I go to Sedona again. And immediately after check-in, they direct you to their "concierge" to learn about trips you can book in Sedona. I assumed they had partnerships with certain tour operators they wanted you to use. I was wrong. The "concierge" was just a salesperson pushing me into going to a timeshare presentation and being really shady about it. The typical, oh you just go to this presentation and we'll get you booked for your Jeep tour for only $15 type of thing. Total waste of my time. If you book here, just to to your room after check-in and tell them you don't even want to talk to their fake concierge.

We understand there is always work to be done for improvements, but workers vehicles should not take up guest parking spaces. A little better job dusting.
The location was beautiful and a good spot to go out exploring the region.

FYI… Some of the rooms require going up and down stairs. This might be a problem for some. It was not for us. They offered assistance with bags if needed.
The location was excellent. We had a 2 bedroom suite. It was perfect for our family. The pool and fitness area was great. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Parking was rough. Even on check in, it was hard getting luggage through the hilly parking lot, and up stairs….especially since often you had to park far away. Our air conditioner never worked the whole 4 days. We did have a problem with an outlet and maintenance showed up promptly to fix it. Also, upon signing in, the clerks automatically send you to the “concierge “ who are simply salesman trying to sign you up for the timeshare program.
Views are beautiful. Nice sized rooms with kitchenette. Comfortable beds . Right in the middle of the city in Sedona.
