To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United States of AmericaI didn’t like that if I needed things such as towels, I was told to come pick them up directly from the desk. I also didn’t like that the rooms are only cleaned every 3 days of your stay.
The staff were very welcoming. It was very clean. Breakfast was pretty good overall.

The staff is always friendly and helpful and the check in and out process is very easy. The rooms are always spacious and clean and comfortable to stay in. They serve a good breakfast with a variety of fruits and hot foods. The location of the hotel is right by one of our favorite grocery stores HEB as well as restaurants, fast food and pizza places. It is located within 30 minutes of most places we visit as well as shopping when we come to the Houston area every 6 months. We have stayed at this hotel 2 times now this past year and had a good experience staying a week both times. We will definitely stay here again and would recommend the Hyatt Place Houston NW Vintage in Tomball Parkway to friends and family.

United States of AmericaThe only issue I had was that the handle on the bathroom door was broken... it was a bit awkward and difficult to open/shut the bathroom door at times.
Very clean hotel in an extremely nice area of Houston, it's right off of the highway so you can access anywhere quickly, it's about 20 minutes from downtown HTX, the room was comfortable and clean, check in and out was a breeze, the parking lot was very well lit and easy to get in and out of with ease. The hotel provided breakfast which was pretty good compared to other hotels, they also have a full bar in the lobby with a nice social area. Definitely was a perfect stay for our weekend stay!

United States of AmericaMy car was parked outside in the front. Next morning when I checked out, the car next to me had its rear window completely . There is a sign that the parking is at owners risk, but if the hotel property adds this saftey feature, we won't mind paying more.
