Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Extrenely uncomfortable sleeper couch really not suitable for kids over 5. Earrings went missing from our room.
Location, person at the front desk when we checked in was very friendly and helpful, bag storage before check in, willingness of atadf to try and help with uncomfortable sleeper couch. Value for money.

We didn’t understand $50.00 a night of security deposits when we checked in! Tried to charge us twice, the day of the check in and the day of check out! But the end it straighten out, still awaiting for refund of security deposit!
Kept area clean, refilled the items constantly, fruits, & variety of tea bags, besides coffee, juices!

Good location, close to subway station and Target, good air conditioning in room, spacious room overall, staff very friendly, partner said the sausages during breakfast were really tasty :P

Our room was smaller than expected but it did have everything we needed.
Our room was very clean, quiet, and bed was so comfortable. Nice, large bathroom. We loved that breakfast was included in price of room, and food was good with a nice variety of choices.

We arrived after the morning session of the US Open to the hotel. We were greeted by the front staff who were warm and welcoming. We asked for information about the area and we’re helped out huge. Everyone is so helpful and nice at the front desk. Would definitely stay here again. Right near the train station which was so easy to use also!!!

Pillows weren’t great. Bed was bouncy. Not enough towels.
It was close to the 7 train and a few really good restaurants. Super nice staff. Strong water pressure!

Breakfast was quite ho hum Wine selections could be much better. New pet peeve experience in multiple properties … smell of pot wafting up through the heating/air conditioning vents.
Conveniently located between three subway stops. Several good restaurants within walking distance. Rooms were quite sound proof

The rooms are small for A family of three or more. Very cramped.
The location to the subway is excellent. The breakfast is superb for an inclusive experience. The surrounding neighborhood is quaint, eclectic, and fun. The staff was helpful and went out of their way to accommodate our needs

Only a few minutes walk to subway (just 1 stop to Manhattan), nice modern rooms, very good breakfast. Were able to leave luggage at the hotel after check out. Sleeper sofa was comfortable.

Breakfast was extremely crowded; no tables to sit, you had to wait a long time. The coach was absolutely uncomfortable to sleep; it felt like sleeping on iron; the mattress was very thin.

Ice machine is super noisy during the night, our room is right in front of it, and there is no doors or any sound-proofing for that loud ice machine! We have been woken up several times during the nights!

The breakfast was a little weird, as there were only plastic cups, plates, cuttlery (ironically saying "eco choice" as it is paper based?). For paying 200+$ per night would be nice to eat from regular plates and not feel like you are camping. The breakfast choices were limited but food tasty. Therw could be a bigger dining area, and breakfast last longer than 9am (on a weekday).
The hotel was very clean, close to several subway stops. Our room was very quite and the bed was very comfy. The room is smaller than a standard European hotel room but I guess that is expected in New York. We did fit well even if it is a bit smaller than I am used to.

First time in Queens however this place didn't disappoint. I loved the fact that the property had parking. Short walk to pretty much everything. Loved it here🥰🥰🥰
