Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaI didn't like that the restaurants were so expensive and for the price I paid for the weekend, I felt like free breakfast should have been included. I've stayed at other nice hotels that served free breakfast buffet and I didn't pay nearly as much as I paid for my Hyatt stay. I took my family with me and it was just too expensive to eat there at the Hyatt so we left to eat for breakfast lunch and dinner on both days of our stay and the bathroom in our room was way too small.
I liked how friendly the staff was and how quickly they got us things we needed. The room was very clean as well.

United States of America- as mentioned in other reviews, and you know that you can expect this at a place like this, prices are steep. Drinks, self parking (might as well use their valet for slightly more, their valet was super helpful, friendly and seamless), meals, etc, add up. Having said, the price of the buffet was very reasonable, especially for the quality you'd get! - we didn't come for the wifi, but wifi around the hotel was choppy/poor. Couldn't get a signal in our room and also in other areas it was very slow. - no/little toilets around the pool area. Maybe we missed them, but we had to walk out of the waterpark and either go to the gym area or pavillion. Makes you think a bit if everyone goes through that effort with little kids whilst at the waterpark.
Stayed two night with our two kids (6 and 7) and cat during Spring Break. A wonderful hotel. The things that stood out to me: - Very friendly staff, everyone had a smile and was eager to help. - Buffet in Sprinhouse Cafe was excellent. Exceeded my expectations. A wonderful salad bar during dinner and they were very accommodating for vegetarians. - Very pet friendly, but also respectful to those who don't wish to encounter them during their stay. We brought our cat (hairless, walks on leash, well trained etc.) and that was the reason we choose the Hyatt, but it couldn't have worked out ant better. The door hangers saying that the room had pet inside (to 'warn' house keeping) was super smart! - The Flow Rider/Wave Machine (bodyboard/surf) was such a wonderful experience for our kids. Definitely the highlight of their stay. The staff working was wonderful! I didn't ask their names but there was a men and a lady and they did such a wonderful job engaging with the kids and they seemed truly passionate about teaching them! Do book a spot in advance since they book up I believe. - Towel dispensers at pool areas! - Rooms were modern, clean and had a very comfy feel to them. Appreciated the large fridge, plenty of towels, coffee machine and complementary water. - Texts with changes/updates. Due to weather they moved some activities (or had to change them to indoor activities) and I would receive texts about this to inform us. Super helpful! And also the ability to adjust so quickly to weather changes was great! No activity got cancelled, they just moved it indoors or came up with an other activity.

United States of AmericaThe accommodations are nice, but dated. Most resorts are this way so it's to be expected though it would be nice to have a more updated room to spend time in. The inside has an old oak smoke scent like camp fire has permeated every square in. No standard inclusions like glasses as most hotel rooms include. Beds could also use more pillows as each queen only had two lumpy ones.
We loved the lazy river. Not super familiar with San Antonio, but there was plenty around to get out and grab food.

United States of AmericaThe line to have breakfast (about 1 hour waiting) I traveled all world and it was the worst waiting line to have breakfast I have ever seen. With two kids and two seniors it is hard to have it in the beginning of our day. Also the restaurants time to have lunch and dinner close early.
I liked the room and the facilities (structure of the hotel)

United States of AmericaOnly one water slide for kids. Wish there was more slides
Loved the stay. Rooms are very clean and there are ton of activities daily for kids. There is beach volley ball Table tennis and a movie every night. Breakfast Buffet is just phenomenal. Totally worth the money for. Kids had a blast. My 10 and 12 yrs old loved the pools and floating River. There is just one water slide though. Kids would love more slides for sure. But daily kids activities are just a bonus. Played catch the water Ballon with my son. It is such a fun place. Golfing Biking and walking trails are also available. Simply put amazing place to visit with family and even Newly weds

United States of AmericaIt is EXPENSIVE. Starbucks, was $30 for 2 short coffees. Breakfast for us both was $78. Burgers by the pool? $96- with ONE alcoholic drink. We sat down at the Antlers Lodge, and walked out.... That would've been a $300+ meal. Bring a cooler. Pack picnic style.
The property is beautiful. The staff was exceptional.

United States of AmericaFood options were limited and staff was rude at dining place. There also needs to be a lifeguard of staff to monitor lazy River, I saw a child jump from the rocks into the river and a couple boys putting All the tubes in the river.
The rooms have been remodeled and are nice. The water area is nice as well. My boys enjoyed the flow rider.

United States of AmericaThe resort fees are higher and nothing at the facility is included. They definitely nickel and dime you to death. You would think if you pay $400 a night they might include the parking. Everything you want to do costs extra . Food, bike rentals, wave runner, arcade, parking at the resort was $20 a night for self park and $38 a night for valet parking. 😲 So you really start to wonder why you are paying a resort fee if nothing is included.
The resort was a friendly place with a great spa. The grounds were nice and the staff was very nice.

United States of AmericaOne of the things I didn’t like is that in their restaurant (Springhouse cafe), there are no labels for possible peanut allergy foods. Some of the desserts had peanuts in them and when we inquired with staff they didn’t know whether or not the food included peanuts. My kids have a high peanut allergy so luckily I checked prior to them eating it. The toilets in the room are LOUD when you flush. So don’t be alarmed. You get use to it after awhile. The beds and pillows are feather beds & pillows so they are very soft. The kids loved it, but it was uncomfortable for me. If mattress are a thing for you this is good to know or bring your own pillows. The food is a tad bit overpriced in the restaurants and by the pool but it is to be expected at a resort.
The property is very clean and the staff is very nice. The kids loved the lazy River and the water slide. They have a “beach” area that kids really loved and a s’more making event every night followed by a family movie on their lawn. (They provide these really nice blankets to lay/sit on), but you can bring your own blanket or your own chairs if you want. They do sell food/drinks by the pools. The hotel does provide other activities throughout the day for family/kids that includes scavenger hunts, games, teen party night, etc. Overall it’s a nice family environment.

United States of AmericaWe stayed 4 nights. Might have been too long, by day 3 kids were asking what else there was to do. Also our room was near the elevator and it kept us up throughout the night with loud noises.
Very family oriented. My favorite thing about this property is all the oak trees that provide so much shade over the pool and lazy river, its a must in this Texas heat. Kids love spending time in the pool and lazy river, we ate smores every night, and watched family movies on the lawn. Fun memories were definitely made!
