View Room was a bit dirty Television channels were useless on live TV, Movies that have been out for years $21.99????? Hallway to room carpeting is very worn. Cost for 2 queens for $375 for my wife and I who are retired is a little high based on value and what you get for your money.

Location is away from traffic, noise, etc. Staff was nice, polite and great communication (only one person we spoke to in hotel registration) Parking was good.

I didn’t like the location of my room and would want to have a room closer to pool and amenities next time.

I liked that they have a fire pit and the restaurant and lobby are beautiful. Serving in restaurant are large which is great.

We love the property Chloe and Abhisek the front desk associate are excellent. We will certainly make the property our permanent stay whenever we are there. We will at least be there 2 Or 3 times a year.

I recently stayed at the Hyatt Regency Monterey. It’s clear that no expense has been spared when it comes to the quality of this hotel. Modern decor,that feels like five-star. The location is ideal—far enough from the hustle of the main areas. A nice distance to walk. The rooms are spacious,well designed and incredibly comfortable. Everything from the bedding to the lighting has been thought through with care. Customer service was good. Reception staff were warm, professional, and efficient, and housekeeping was consistently excellent throughout our stay.

Not the greatest soundproofing in the rooms surprisingly, but I tend to wear earplugs in hotels anyway so it didn’t bother me (but did my friend). I also don’t like pay in a lot of money for a room then being forced to pay for parking too. Feels exploitative and seems to be a USA thing only.

Huge property, lots of facilities. The fire pits were particularly nice (although a lot of people clearly need to learn how to cook s’mores!).

The maids did not do a good job cleaning. There was leftover hair in the sink, as if someone shaved and was never fully sprayed and wiped down. Same with the shower. I found lose hair in the bed, and the bathroom floor and bedroom floor was DISGUSTING. By the end of the night/ and next morning, my daughter and I had to jump in the shower a 2nd time because our feet were black from walking barefoot, and it just ruined our socks.

Loved the location, the property itself is beautiful.

I love the location, the ice dispenser (Mom of two toddler) the breakfast buffet. Honestly it’s hard to find a decent breakfast here in US. I always compare hotel here in US and Dubai.. nothing compares Dubai service, this is by far the closest.. i love their smorebox that they offer during your check in, something to enjoy with your family..

Ate dinner at the Sea Root. It was overpriced and my sea bass was substituted with halibut and the fish was very dry. Wouldnt choose to go there again.

For the price, I thought the room would be a little more updated. There was not a microwave. The shower floor had some stains/marks. Some of the artwork in the room was a little blah. I liked the bed ok, but my husband thought it was a little uncomfortable. He also didn’t like the smell of the room when we entered. It had a stuffy deodorized smell, but we opened a window and it was much better. The temperature in the room was a bit hard to set due to delay in changing temp once you set it.

The property outside is well maintained with lots of greenery. Check-in staff were nice. I liked the lights on the floor of the bed when you step off the bed. Thankfully, there was not any smoke smell in the room. There were a few free movie channels, which was nice.

Mattress was uncomfortable for my husband, and the thermostat did not seem to correlate with the room temp very well.
