Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The building has a weird odor. Nothing that will make you want to leave, but a little annoying.

There was absolutely no mention of any deposit needed upon booking the reservation. I had to drive 1.5 hours back home to get $100 for a deposit! When I asked the receptionist she said very rudely that I could pay it or find somewhere else to sleep the next two night. And also asked for a room facing the reunion tower so we could watch the fireworks for New Year’s Eve, and was given a room blocked by another building beside it as I was in the second floor. And this was after I called to ask about the accommodations!!

The breakfast was made fresh daily downstairs. The rooms were cleaned. The hallways were vacuumed and mopped smelled very fresh and refreshing. The staff were very nice and pleasant. I had a great experience for my first time in Dallas Texas. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

The rooms were not very clean. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting. I actually cleaned it myself because it had hair and dirt in the bathtub and hair on the sink. The price was a bit high as well.
I like the availability of the coffee right at the front desk. Customer service was okay. Could have been a little bit more attentive to the person that they were taking care of at the time. Also had the damage $ charged to the wrong card, but overall OK.

There is nothing to dislike about the property unless you are a very tall person because the hallways and elevators seem a bit smaller than the average facility for some reason

Everything - the hotel is like a 1980s motel - terrible - no where to get any decent food, receptionist didn’t know the area and was frankly useless. Decor was so dated and looked dirty / the rooms were clean though
Nothing - old and tired and needs a complete refurb. The hotel shuttle was the best thing about the whole place

My room ceiling was disgusting from hair stuck to the bathroom ceiling, curtains & bed gown were distinguishing wrinkled, the discolored door handles, rusting shower rod, the 3 different variety of white spray paints on the tub, the cat/dog hair covered the couches and of course onto my clothes, along with the discoloration from dirt spots, the desk chair leather was obviously missing and needed immediate replacing, the furniture looked salvaged, the ceiling in the lounge area of the room had brown different spots in all 4 corners, leak damages, and the air 😲 to say I had to fix the air every 20 minutes, in which did not leave me with any room to sleep. With the ambiance of the room I was unable to feel comfortable, I didn't get much accomplished, I wasn't able to utilize the free wifi or breakfast due to my room condition. I felt safer checking into another hotel for a few hours to complete my business purposes for this trip.
I liked the young lady who checked me in and the guy vacuuming he was welcoming and assisting.
