Honestly, I loved everything about the suite but found the mattress to be too soft.

Breakfast was amazing. Property was pretty secure and I appreciated that greatly. Some of the neighborhoods I drove through to get to the Inn were kinda sketchy but the property itself was very secure. This worked out well since I was out seeing the town and only spent evenings in the suite.

There was noise from either the central AC or some other noise that disturbed my sleep in the Sweden/Scandinavian room.

Sarah & Robin were excellent. Breakfasts were excellent. I would return and stay in a different room.

The only complaint I have is that the mattress in our room was not very comfortable. I do wish we had a little more room to hang our clothes.

My husband and I loved the place, we stayed in the Scandinavian room. The staff were wonderful and the breakfast each morning was delicious. Having our own bathroom was great. We will definitely stay here again.

Very quaint and lovely bed and breakfast in an old house in a quiet, safe part of town. We love older homes as they have so much character. Each room was made up beautifully with a theme. Sitting areas inside and outside. Staff met us and showed us around. Great breakfast in morning.

I am 6'4" 280 and the shower was very small, but doable. Provided one soap bar the was very small and thin. About the size you throw away at home.

The house was beautifully decorated. Our room was clean and very comfortable. It had everything we needed - even a spa tub! The homemade breakfast was delicious too.

The room we were given had the smallest shower we've ever experienced...but as I mentioned above we'd stay there again in a heartbeat, maybe just ask for a room with a larger shower.

The inn was quiet, excellent food, and just an overall great atmosphere. The place is old and a little quirky.... But we would gladly stay there again.

We loved this little bed and breakfast! We were immediately greeted upon entry by a kind young lady who was expecting us. We loved the homey feel of the place, along with the beautiful decorations and the themed rooms. It was nice that there were only a small number of guests, most of whom we met the following morning at breakfast. We absolutely would stay here again and try a new room!

We stayed at the Woodstock Inn the weekend of the Chiefs vs. Broncos game, November 9–10, 2024. This was our first time staying at a bed and breakfast, so we weren’t sure what to expect. As soon as we arrived, we were warmly greeted by the Innkeeper, Sarah, who promptly showed us to our room. Wow—what a stunning space! I was so impressed that I immediately recorded a video and shared it with all my friends. Our room featured an electric fireplace and a cozy sitting area, which turned out to be the perfect spot to relax and watch college football that afternoon. While we were getting ready to head out for dinner that evening, a wonderful aroma drifted up from downstairs. When we returned later that night, we found freshly baked cookies and brownies waiting for us on the dining room table—such a thoughtful touch! Breakfast the next morning was delicious, and we enjoyed chatting with other couples and families who were also in town for the game. It was fun to swap tips about getting to the stadium and discuss everyone’s tailgating plans. Checkout was incredibly simple—we just handed Sarah our key and headed out. There was no waiting for her to finalize the bill or have us sign anything. It couldn’t have been more convenient. The Woodstock Inn is an absolute gem and the perfect getaway. If you’ve never stayed at a bed and breakfast, this is the place to start. You won’t be disappointed! – Sueann Meagher

The staff were very accomodating. We arrived late in the evening and they were able to check us in with no fuss. We also had to leave before breakfast on the last day, and they provided us with a bagged breakfast to take on the train. The room was lovely and we liked the communal area too. The location was perfect for us, as we have family living nearby.

The themed rooms really set this place apart from other places we have stayed. The location was excellent. It was close to Arrowhead Stadium and near shopping. It was tucked away just enough to feel quiet and relaxed, even though you are still in a major city.

Breakfast was excellent. Enjoyed meeting our neighbors and the conversation. Backyard was beautiful. Parking was well lit and cameras overseeing the very packed truck. Decorations were seasonally tasteful.
