Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThe toilet was so low and the water ran all night long. There was black mold in the shower on the ceiling. The headboards were all scratched and ripped. Thin walls, thin ceilings. (Room 115)
The location and staff were perfect

United StatesThe waffles were not hot and a bit soft. Will not order it again. The room was dated. The headboard has a big rip. The shower head dripped all day long. We closed the door so that we wouldn't hear the constant dripping sounds.
The coffee was fine. The availability of the shuttle made it easy to go the restaurant the wedding venue. The staff was friendly.

United StatesPillows were VERY uncomfortable. Shower faucet was about to fall off. Rooms are very dated. Food at the Aerie Cafe and Silverleaf was overpriced for what you get (half a sandwich with fries was $18) and the service at the silverleaf was awful.
A lot of amenities. Staff was friendly. Clean. Great value for the price

United StatesOur view was of a parking lot. Great views of the golf course from a different room.
Our goal was to play golf in Redmond/Bend. To stay at the premises and have the golf course so close was terrific. The towns of Bend and Sisters were great to visit. We ate dinner close by; once at the restaurant and once at the cafe. Both good meals. The breakfast onsite was delicious every morning. It was a quick, but great, getaway from Sacramento, CA. I highly recommend this place.

United StatesThe room was tired. Needs to be remodeled. Musty smell and stained carpet. Furniture old and lighting bad. Felt it was not up to standards for the price we paid.
The setting and grounds are beautiful.

United StatesPaid a lot but was given a room on the ground floor with overgrown bushes in front of the window. They let a huge RV take up five parking spaces in from of the room to block whatever remaining view I had. There was a musty smell to the room.
Very pretty area.

United StatesRooms small. Mattress needs replacement (lumpy). Head boards looked dirty and worn. Fake leather was flaking and not fitting for a room of this cost. No extra chair besides desk chair for relaxing or reading a book. No towel or refresh service for rooms unless you stayed 4 days. Had to go get extra towels at front desk. They were also out of coffee pods for coffee maker???? Full property and not prepared????
Had a Keurig coffee maker in room. Had a refrigerator.

United StatesWe had requested adjoining rooms but because we booked on booking.com we didn’t get adjoining rooms. We were also under the impression breakfast was included and it was a cafe which we paid for.
The property was clean. So much to do in one area. The indoor pool was great!

United StatesNo place to eat in the lodge, everything was closed even on Fri & Sat. I was directed by staff to a restaurant across the rd, that was supposed to be open, but it wasn't. The next time we stayed we enjoyed the creekside place to eat nearby , but I would prefer not having to walk in the cold, or drive to breakfast.
The location was perfect. It was quiet ,even on a busy weekend. Nice environment, beautiful setting.

United StatesFacilities are aged, not maintained well. The beds had headboards that were cracked and peeling, bed sheets were crispy and loud. The HVAC unit in the rooms cannot be controlled by you. Very small TV but at least it worked.
Bathrooms were nice, deep tubs and high shower heads. Huge property which I didn't get to explore since we stayed just the night and left early. The Cafe is great. Not free, but it beats the free stuff easy.

United StatesI didn't like how far away the pool/sports facility was. I just didn't realize it was separate from the main lodge. I tried to figure it out before booking, but it wasn't easy to find.
The bed was the most comfortable bed I've slept in at a hotel.
