The 9:30 am jackhammering in a Saturday wasn’t pleasant and the 5:30am street cleaner on a Sunday not great, but I guess they probably can’t help with the city schedules that and it’s next to the biggest public parking lot. Before we checked out, a worker came in to inspect the patio for an AirPod that had dropped with the do not disturb sign on the door. My husband was in the bathroom luckily with the door closed. Other than that it was great! 😅

The sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable and not suitable for for two teenagers. The mattress itself had wire springs which were just below the cotton top layer of the mattress. Considering I had booked the hotel many months before our arrival, the sofa bed was not set up and there were no pillows or duvets left out for this bed. My booking clearly stated we were two adults and two teen aged children. The hotel did make another room available since the sofa bed was not fit for purpose but this was an upset we didn’t need after a long journey.

The roof top pool and seating was very nice. The bed and sea views were also very lovely.

I understand check-in is at 4 pm. We arrived at 8:00 am due to having to check out from the other hotel we had to stay at. We were hopeful we would be able to check in at an earlier time to settle in. Unfortunately, We were put on a wait list to check in early, which was fine. The part that was upsetting was I continuously checked in every so often to see if the room was ready, and I was always told no. We sat in the waiting area of the lobby hotel, hoping we would get called to check in before 4:00 pm, but I did not. I went and checked at the desk again, this time the lady radioed housekeeping to see if the room was ready. In front of me, as the front desk was asking, housekeeping said no not yet, we decided to start at the top. I guess after hearing that, I would have hoped if they can decide that, then they could have decided to ask for accommodations for the room to be cleaned at an earlier time. I did not receive a text until around 3:45pm to be able to go to the room.

I didn't like that the pool was really below standard , expected more from the pictures and then the staff at the resturant were rude

No microwave in the room, the towel bar for the shower were rusted.Parking was 30.00/night. Found that out when checking in. Restaurant on the roof was excellent. Staff was very friendly, professional and efficient.

I liked the location of the hotel. Close to the beach. We were put in a suite wheelchair accessible because the hotel booked wrong the first night and the shower didn't drain, then we changed rooms and were close to the street, no ocean view like we booked? and the screen door didn't shut but they got maintainence up there. The staff was awesome and very helpful especially Juan, very nice.

When we got there, the previous guests had left an undergarment in the safe and it hadn’t been cleaned out by staff.

The door to the room had a large gap so when people were walking by talking it was pretty loud. The pool was not heated and I was looking forward to having that experience there.

The fireplace outside the room and right off the beach!! The location is perfect.
