We were on the 13th floor. The icemachine was out of order, not a big deal, just a small inconvenience. The issue we had was with the valet. We understand that it can get busy, but we had to wait about 30 minutes to get our vehicle when we checked out. After about 15 minutes I went to ask about our vehicle and they said it should be out shortly as our keys were not on the table. After 25 minutes I went in again and they couldn't find my keys nor someone that possibly took them. Eventually after doing a thorough check they found my keys in the bottom cabinet. Again a small inconvenience but when youre paying $38 USD for it you expect a bit more professionalism. It set our trip back home a bit. And when its the end of your trip, you just want to go home as soon as possible. The staff was apologetic and I appreciated it. But again, when youre paying for a service you expect promt delivery of that service. Thats all.

Staff was very polite, helpful. Location was great.

valet parking, $38/per day. There is really no other safe option for parking, so I do appreciate the valet having our car locked up safely. Didn't feel very safe in the neighborhood after dark...a lot of lingering and homeless and prostitutes on the streets. Maybe just my perception since I do not live in the cory.

Staff were so friendly. View of the Mississippi River

The bathroom seemed outdated, or perhaps, badly updated. It was just kind of off and not properly working. For example, the toliet took some finesse to flush. The breakfast was pretty terrible.

A pretty basic hotel in a downtown. We only stayed one night so it was a great option, close to the venue in Downtown St. Paul. The room had a great view of the Mississippi.

When we arrived there seemed to be large groups of people throughout the lobby. It seemed like some kind of youth sports teams or something. Not a problem, but added an element confusion on our arrival. However, check-in went very smoothly! Thank you .

Location. Convenient to visiting our daughter.

The homeless population in downtown St. Paul is considerable. Drug dealers on the streets and nearby parks are quite active. Getting in and out of downtown was difficult due to a street market organization and a massive police blockade.

The downtown building reflects1970's architectural features; business focused, large and impersonal. Probably re-decorated in the early 2000's with dark and light grey tones. Rooms are comfortable and clean and the staff is knowledable and cour teous. The problem is to get to and from the comfortable rooms because of downtown parking and elevator rush hours. It may be a good idea to book weekends here since the park meters are off at the weekends. The scenic river definitely makes your stay worth while.

My room had this little panel under the window that slipped open the first night in room 1212. It needs to be repaired, to maintain the temperature.

There was a lot of activities going on the weekend we were there. The three elevators were hardly enough to get people where they needed to go so we end up using the stairs to go to the eighth floor or down to the ballrooms quite often.

Definitely needs a new window in the room we stayed in. Extremely drafty and visually looked bad due to discoloration which is likely moisture trapped in between the panes of glass.
