To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

There is nothing to like about this property. No one is ever in the office to help you with anything. They didn’t even check me in off. The booking website would never accept my husband‘s payment because they were never in the office canceled his room card every night, even though he paid for a week, didn’t have any pillows on the bed had never cleaned his room

United States of AmericaI did not like that the bathroom toilet took several times to flush because of the low pressure. The bedding was too big and dragged on the floor. The kitchen sink was too small. The smoke detector constantly beeped and when the office was notified it did not correct the problem. The drawers for clothing storage were not enough. When the weather was bad TV service and the internet would be lost. The refrigerator leaked inside and food containers and items constantly got wet.
I like the laundry facilities. I thought It was smart that the stove has a timer. I like that the room had a pantry or storage area in the kitchen that was big enough to accommodate my needs. It had an elevator.
