Itasca is an old motel. Was fairly clean. Beds were comfortableand clean

Update the furnishings and the bed was too soft and ther pillows were really thin. The living room or lounge area chairs were dirty and worn and the tv was on a stand too low.

Facility was very rundown for the cost of the room. I thought the booking stated 2 queen-sized beds but they were double beds. There were no drinking glasses in the room. The proprietor was very pleasant.

I didn't mind the "old"ness of the place, but things needed painting (sink, walls, woodwork) and the door jambs, casings, moldings, and light switch areas needed cleaning!!

Desk clerk/owner(?) was very friendly!! The bed was comfortable and clean.

The room condition left a lot to be desired: --- The bathroom door (Room 13) was being held together by tape, which was coming undone. --- The Wi-Fi signal in the room was very weak, and we needed to go to the office to get an acceptable signal. --- The armchair was old and worn but still comfortable.

The Itascan Motel is on a main road and easy to find. The people working at check-in were friendly and helpful.

with very little effort this could be a lot nicer. Painting was poorly done, tv was propped up with a waded up pillow case. Toilet leaked all over the floor, wasn't properly installed. It's pleasant enough for this single guy and his dog, but I can see why family types would shy away. This was my second stay here and I'll stay again next hunting season probably.

Even though it was supposed to be a non smoking room, it smelled like stale smoke. I had to air the room out for several hours before I could stand to be in it.

Absolutely filthy. Stained bedding, bugs in the room, cabinets missing a door. Clogged sink with hair visible clogging the sink. There was some kind of opaque stuff between the carpet and wall that could only speculate were some kind of fungus. This place is worse than a seedy motel you see the downtrodden protagonist stay in while battling alcoholism and a bad divorce.

The person who checked me in was extremely friendly.

The travel app i used, Agoda, wouldnt refund my $1200 from bookings made here in error and it screwed me as well as the hotel mgt up for a couple of days. Yhey still refuse to refund my money and charged the hotel $99 for the booking cancellation for the one i made through their site in error. So they got them for$99 and me for nearly $700. And i paid ge hotel directly for the 3 nights i stayed here, Agoda didn't pay them, they kept my mobey, charged tge hotel a punative fee, and has made zero effort to refund me. Im out of money now bc Agoda has taken all of if mine.

The room probably could have been cleaned a little better, but for what it was, it served its purpose! It was a little intimidating to travel alone as a woman, and that’s part. I hate the most! Has nothing to do with the motel.

My absolute favorite part about this motel was the owners! They were exceptional, they went above and beyond constantly, and they were so kind! If I had to come back for work, it would be because of their kindness! My outlet was broken in the room, and they did not hesitate to fix it immediately!

Canceled the room we we got there . Room smelled like bad mothballs and one of the sheets had a stain on it. A lady at a local restaurant told me not to leave anything in my boat as it probably will be gone in the morning.the desk clerk where we stayed confirmed that and said that hotel had a reputation.

The gentleman at the front desk was friendly and charming. I found my room to be charming, too. The room was small and homey but perfectly adequate. Very retro, in good condition and wonderfully quiet. The bed was even an old poster bed, maybe original to the room and very comfortable. The tv had a full load of excellent channels to choose from and had Fox news and the Fox business channel. I have stayed at many hotels/motels over the years, most were much more expensive but none of those other motels ever drew me back, but the Itasca motel did.
