Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Saudi ArabiaVery old and not renovated. The junior suite was not clean when I checked in and I had to call the house keeping to clean it. The sofa has stains and the carpet is very old. The room chandeliers, although nice, but noisy and a problem during night because they keep swinging for any movement coming from up or the AC fan causing glass noise ! The breakfast is merely a 2 stars hotel standard not 5 ! Very limited choices on all fronts ..
The location in front of the Central Park at the corner of 7th

United States of AmericaWhen I made the reservation I indicated that we would arrive around 4-4:30pm. We arrived closer to 5:30 and our room was not ready. It took an additional 40 minutes for a room to be ready which disrupted our evening plans. Additionally, the room we were checked into was located next to the elevator shaft on the 11th floor. The noise from the elevators was extremely disruptive waking both my son and myself several times during the night. Leaving us both tired and NOT well rested.
Proximity to the Central Park.

United Arab EmiratesThe room was tacky and for the price we paid you did not expect this. Also not having coffee making facilities in the room was inconvenient.
The room though clean was tacky in the sense that the tables were either stained or chipped. No coffee making facilities in the room. Location nice but our room only faced other buildings!

ItalyThe room was dusty and the housekeeping service mediocre. In 4 days the room was never vacuumed Although specific requests have been made at the reception. Not enough towels in the bathroom, used glasses left on the table since day one, old bed blankets and covers for the second kids bed. Very disappointing
The location is perfect right in front of Central Park few blocks from Columbus circle shipping area

United States of AmericaWe stayed in a 1 bedroom suite with our 2 kids. It was so spacious. I was concerned because the website indicated that a renovation was being done in the lobby- I didn't see or hear a thing so they've done a great job concealing it from guests.

United States of AmericaThe hotel lobby and location feel like you’re getting something special. For me that ended when I got to my room. My reservation was for a king bed, but that is not what was in the room. I also reserved a room with a view of Central Park. To me, the view is what you get when you are standing directly in front of your windows and looking out. Well, my view was of the side of a building. There were people in the windows to at least wave at. Central Park could be seen if you stuck your head to the window and looked left. The walk-in closet was nice but the light is controlled by a button in the door frame. When you open the door the light comes on. Problem was that the HVAC air intake vent was located in the closet. Since the closet/light is right across from the bed, you had to keep the door closed to turn the light off. Keeping the door closed interferes with the air conditioning though. I called the front desk and they sent maintenance up. I asked them to unscrew the light so I could turn it off. He ultimately came back with a 2”x4” piece of cardboard and duct tape which kept the light button down and light off, allowing the door to stay open. Ultimately the adhesive lost its strength so I had to wedge a hand towel into the door frame on top of the cardboard/tape contraption but it worked! Unfortunately I do not at all feel like I received the value of what I paid. The experience was also so inconsistent - very friendly and professional staff downstairs, even when you call, but what’s up with the tacky closet situation? Put normal light switches in there so guests can turn the light off without having to close the door, which causes the AC to not work as well.
Great location across from Central Park. Building entrance is clean, welcoming, and the hotel staff were very professional.

United States of AmericaThe room we had was adjacent to the elevator core and had constant elevator noise and vibrations. There were renovations on our floor so we were awoken on multiple days to contractors having meetings in the elevator core and contractor carts moving through the elevator core. Our room was listed as "park views" and "city views". We had one 36" x 60" window in our room looking at the park and it was not hear the bed so it was not at all what we expected. The city views looked out onto a bunch of commercial roofs and office space windows. We would consider this a misrepresentation. The bathtub was a shallow and small cast iron tub that was pretty marked up, which was not what we were expecting. The shower head had no volume control and was very powerful so not very comfortable either. We were disappointed with the facilities. I would not stay in this hotel again, especially the cost we paid for the quality received.
The proximity to central park was wonderful.
