This list of cons may sound a bit nitpicky, but there were so many issues that I really invite you to read through it Cleanliness and room - The floor was dirty, full of hair and dust. Do you only clean it once a month? - The bed sheets had random stains, why not replace them? - The towels were yellowish with visible stains, looking more old than white. How many years have they been in use? - The only nightstand in the room was sticky and stained. I had to cover it with tissues before placing anything on it. How can you give a room to a guest without cleaning the only nightstand? - The mattress and pillow were so uncomfortable that I woke up with my back and neck in pieces - The room itself is very old and really needs renovation Rudeness - The man at the reception was extremely rude and unfriendly: he treats people like cockroaches. Doesn’t the staff receive any training or has to pass any interview? Lack of transparency - On Booking, there was no mention of a required $100 deposit. Why this inconsistency? Price - The price is way too high for what is offered.

Everything was right, except for the cold pool and couldn't even put a feet on it. The pool area was one of the reasons I've booked again this hotel and I was really deceived because quthin distance there was an hotel with no pool and really less expensive than this one. So the info should be clearly mentionned. One thing I don't like about this pool area, is that you have to cross the street to get there. Apart from that, room is clean, big and it's close (0,800 mile) to Venice Beach and close to Venice Canals as well. Great hotel and comparing to other hotels in Venice Beach very expensive, this one has a correct price if you consider the pool.

The location, the price, the cleanest of the rooms, and mostly the staff were very friendly.

I only have two suggestions, one that they change the knobs on the bathroom doors as they are very difficult to maneuver with wet hands and are not ADA accessible for handicapped people. The second suggestion that I have is that they provide additional parking other than just under the hotel as the parking spots are very narrow, and my car was actually hit by another car underneath while I was staying there with significant damage. There are double parking spots and if you park in front, then you get blocked in if you park behind someone you block them in so maybe additional parking Somewhere around the hotel would be helpful for their patrons. Other than that, have a great stay!
