Thank you for coming to stay and I am glad you were able to stargaze and enjoy the extreme quite in my beloved home! I always wonder about the price because we use a program that averages for the area, times of years, weekends and weekdays, etc. I wish we could offer for free but I do appreciate you visiting.

We are so sorry you were disturbed, we had hoped to make it up to you. I hear that you went away angry. Please know that the listing and pictures are comprehensive, it's important to look before booking. The bathroom sink is for washing up, sorry you didn't like that but it's a grey water system watering all the sage and trees, that's what we mean by off the beaten path.

I do wonder what the reasoning of your reduced score to a 7.5 for "Value for Money", what are you comparing value to? I make sure to be more affordable than the local "Joshua Tree Inn", much larger, more amenities and a private very large yard to yourselves, so very peaceful and quiet here too! I am glad that once you were able to complete the Rental Agreement you did get the check in instructions immediately, and got in easily. In the messaging prior to booking and my welcome message I let guests know about my need for compliance that the Rental Agreement is necessary. Because you did not take care of this prior to arrival you were at my door on a call with me still unable to complete, certainly your irritation and impatients was noted. I wish defense would not be my current position but you marking me down so drastically for your failing to or refusing to comply and help your host is hurtful, after all, you don’t know the why I need a Rental Agreement, suffice to say, it is imparitive. I do wish you wonderful travels.

I struggle as to how I could give construction feedback in reply to your review but here goes. You ignored everything with your booking…what you booked (my studio with the kitchenette), the process of check in as well as check out, and everything in between. Your son called after arrival when you couldn’t figure out how to get in, you were looking for a check in receptionist (it’s clear I have self check in). He told me you had ignored all communications, so it made sense, and now I realize that you didn’t know what you had booked… Please, in the future know what you are booking so the host gets a fair chance at meeting your expectations, communicate with your host so they also have a chance to meet your wants and needs. You marked me down in your review for providing exactly what was purchased, and it would seem you have not read anything and you are still unclear about what you booked. You could have easily booked my 1 bedroom with a full kitchen. This experience with you was stressful before, during and now after your arrival. In the future I do wish your travels to be wonderful adventures and you are happy with your stays. You would be better served to book through an agent so you have realistic expectations. Had you communicated with me you would have had everything you wanted, I have a 1 bedroom with a full kitchen too. All the best to you sincerely.
