What I most appreciated about the June Lake Villager was its perfect blend of comfort, charm, and convenience. The property is exceptionally well maintained, with a cozy mountain-lodge atmosphere that feels both inviting and relaxing. Its central location in June Lake made it easy to enjoy everything the area has to offer…restaurants, shops, the brewery, and the lakes themselves are all within walking distance. The room was thoughtfully furnished with everything needed for a comfortable stay, and the attention to detail was evident throughout. The staff was genuinely warm and accommodating, adding a personal touch that made the experience even more memorable (shoutout to baby Jack!). Overall, it provided the ideal balance of hospitality and atmosphere for a quiet and peaceful stay in the Eastern Sierra.

The floor not being cleaned well enough for a crawling baby.

Check in staff member was very friendly and thorough with how to get to our room and where to park. The room was clean but the floor could have been cleaned better as we had a baby crawling and she got filthy with dirt.

I would’ve liked to have had an iron and ironing board in room- lighting in room is very dark and not much bathroom space for toiletries.

Location and quaintness of the motel was wonderful - also Darla was very friendly and helpful.

The light sensor in the bathroom illuminated the whole room (we kept the bathroom door open at night), every time the AC went on. A nite-light would be better. AC unit disallowed you from opening the front window. The AC unit was good, but an open window at night would have sufficed. I'm a bit of a coffee snob, and was not happy with the motel's selection. Fortunately, there is an awesome coffee shop just steps away.

I had a stop-over on the way from LA to Carson City. I got 2 rooms, one for myself and the other for a family member. They proprietors gave us rooms next to each other without asking! The Location is in downtown June Lake and steps from the Brewery. Also, an easy walk to both Gull and June lakes for fishing. VERY convenient. View from room and balcony of Carson Peak - AMAZING during sunrise. I did not use the fish cleaning facility, but there is one, and it looked capable. Also, there was a nice courtyard with a BBQ. Plenty of Ice from the Ice Machine. Everything was clean and ready for us when we arrived, before 4:00!

Loved the location- right next to the tiger bar,maybe 150 yards to the June lake brewery and 100 yards to the T_BAR/ Pizzeria.

TV signal in & out. Though not there to watch TV, but early sunset & temps in the 20s, it’d be nice to have entertainment to pass the time in the evenings. Value: kinda pricey.

Best location for June & Mammoth Lakes activities. Friendly & very helpful front desk staff, answers phone 24/7. Complete kitchen w full size refrig & stove. Parking next to room.

There was no heater in the main bedroom (not great). When we asked about it, a space heater was delivered to our unit in under 15 minutes even though it was after 9PM (incredible service).

Incredible service! We blew a fuse plugging too many things in and they reset the breaker in under five minutes. Great setup for a family with two kids. Centrally located. Great value.

A updated old school motel that maintains its charm. Super comfortable bed, nice little kitchen and while there are modern updates I loved the little pieces of its past they keep in tact.
