The restaurant was only open on certain days and for dinner. Even though we had a kitchen, it would have been nice to have an insight breakfast option.

The location was great, the grounds were beautiful. It was nice to be by the ocean and close to a walking path. Being near the coconut marketplace was a bonus.

The only thing I didn’t like was that the mattress was so hard and uncomfortable! I dreaded sleeping in it every night.

The property itself is beautiful, all amenities that you would need on vacation are provided. The pool and hot tub were so clean and well maintained. The walking path out front was nice for morning walks.

Taking into consideration that it’s a tropical island so it’s going to happen but the bathroom floors seemed slightly water logged, tub was slightly rusty in some spots. Also, nothing major but noticed a couple of stained makeup spots on the pillow cases.

My only concern was that housekeeping services were only available after 10 days of stay, which felt quite inconvenient given our 7-day visit. While I understand that daily housekeeping may not be standard these days, I believe that at least one full cleaning and linen change should be provided during a week-long stay. We brought this to the management's attention, and they were able to change the linens, but no additional cleaning was offered.

The hotel was enjoyable, with a fantastic swimming pool and stunning beach views. The staff was friendly, helpful, and attentive. The restaurant served delicious food, making dining there a pleasure. The rooms were a bit aged but well-maintained and reasonably clean. We did notice some insects, but we understand that this can be part of the environment.

Can"t think of anything really. Our whole family of 10 ( including 4 grand kids age 13-9) loved everything about it!! Maybe my first concern before even arriving was about something that wasn't even a reflection on the resort. At first I wondered about not being on nice sandy beach directly in front but when we got there we saw there was a good beach just a few steps to the right. Having said that we never even went down to that beach. We went to so many beaches around the island that it didn't really matter all that much. After beach hopping around the island snorkleing and scuba diving, the kids were actually excited to get back to the resort pool rather than walk down to the "beach" area in front. So it worked out perfect and my initial concern was not an issue at all.

The perfect type of rooms for our family of 10. the two bedrooms/full kitchen/living area with sofabed/2 bath/laundry in room was the perfect accommodations. The grounds were beautiful as well at the lagoon style pool. I like that it wasn't the huge sprawling high rise style. More intimate and laid back with easy access to everything. The location was perfect. A nice distance between north shore and south shore. The convenience of the Coconut Marketplace we awesome. No streets to cross...basically our own personal shopping area. We were there as well well as our kids many, many times. If we get back to Kauai we will DEFINITELY STAY HERE AGAIN! It was the perfect Hawaiian style tropical atmosphere. And again, the large condo accommodations worked perfect for us. PS also had dinner in their restaurant...it was exceptional.

The parking is lacking in space for the size of most vehicles. We couldn't open our doors to get everyone out if I didn't let them out before I pulled in to a parking spot.

The little dated interiors and pests could be seen around.. It was not a major concern but if addressed would make it even better..

Kauai Beach resort was very good for it price and the facilities.. Though it was a little outdated, the location closer to beach and spacious rooms were very impressive.. We liked the property and would recommend it for families..
