It was not very clean for what it was. Expectations were definitely at a different level than reality. The staff was less than stellar, and most were rude and unhelpful (This was our experience on our visit, I do not know how staff is normally). The term “nickel and dime you to death” is a gross understatement. There is not a secure door on the bathroom. It is a nice little pocket door, but no lock or even any type of latch. Just door to frame.

It is a very cool property. Everything you need under one roof. It was nice having the indoor water park as Gurnee was over 100 the day we came. It was going to be a 2 day trip to Great America. It got very hot, so it was nice to be able to have fun and not have to be out in those elements.

Our room was the end in town 1 and there were no elevators for town 1 only if you are inside the building. Our room was the very last one in the end with no elevator in site. Guests were smoking out last night and had to deal with weed smell

The passes are great for the money, love the adventures pass for the whole family. The breakfast food deal is definitely worth the money. Swim park is always fun especially the lazy river

thebooking.com Isn’t upfront about all the charges. For the hotel, it would be that the pool closes at 8 PM On weekdays doesn’t open until 10. But they have so many activities open while the pool is closed. I figured it’s a good way for them to get your money. Your kid can’t swim, but you gotta keep them occupied.

What made this check-in experience horrible was the fact that Does not tell you all the fees that will be applied. I would recommend you called the resort first. My booking through booking.com was 146. When I got there, it was 224, They don’t tell you about the resort . It’s very expensive, especially when the pool closes at 8:00 PM. It won’t open until 9 am and check is at 10:00. i blame booking.com for this, I felt it was deceptive. We stayed one night, And didn’t get to swim. I wish we had stayed at La Quinta. At least my kid would have gotten to swim. The staff was really nice. Patrick was Really sweet at the front desk, And so was Cassie the manager. Place was really clean.

Our room had some items on the carpet that were left from the previous guests that my Grand daughter put in her mouth. The manager did take care of that as soon as we made him aware and was very apologetic.

The staff was very friendly, and the check- in process was fast. The place was beautiful.

Also even though it wasn't freezing the halls was cold after October 15th the heat in ill comes on , You should try to incorporate a hot tub or sauna and yes there is a lot to maintaining them but you need something for the adults, alcoholic beverages prices should be lowered to half the present sales price , good luck 🤞 we will come back for the rooms but nothing else
