Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesOut of the hotel's control... but there was a lot of construction around the hotel at the time of our stay so it was difficult to navigate to the hotel and it was noisy nearby.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Kimpton Cottonwood Hotel. It's a beautiful, luxurious place to relax and reset. The valet parking was a nice touch - always prompt and very helpful. The hotel staff were all very friendly and welcoming. We really enjoyed the outdoor pool club and we relaxed on the patio all afternoon. Our room was clean and uniquely designed. We also enjoyed a tasty breakfast in the Orléans Room.

United StatesPool could use more loungers but it’s a nice set up and current construction around the hotel is annoying but not the hotels fault at all.
The staff was incredibly nice and accommodating. It was nice having our room cleaned during our stay and not given the “covid” excuse. The pool was wonderful and comfortable. Rooms were clean and stocked properly and very comfortable.

United StatesThe air conditioner did not work appropriately in the room - and when we arrived, it was happy hour and the front desk staff did not tell us about this, so we missed it.
The location, pool and all amentaties. There was a lot going on - and we indulged!

United StatesNothing. All great. Ome comment is to not be scared off by the tile floor in the lobby. It's old and at first I was uneasy because of this, but I think they kept it because of the historic aspect.
Tastefully restored historic hotel. The service was great. The restaurants and bars in the hotel were excellent. The room was very nice and comfortable. The location was great. It was great to stay somewhere unique, not jist another Marriott experience. Can't wait to come back in the summer when the pool is open.

United StatesSometimes there were limited dining options in the afternoon and later evening hours.
Beautiful, clean location. Even with hosting a wedding the venue was very quiet. Loved that they had multiple places to work and eat from. Staff was extremely friendly. Even the coffee shop gals were willing to help with questions! Would 100% come back.

United StatesLovely stay at a nice hotel. It is starting to show some wear and tear. Little things are starting to add up to wear its luster. For instance, the tiles in our shower were loose and could be pulled from the floor. Door jams were knocked and chipped. Nothing major but collectively they took away from an otherwise gorgeous hotel.
The Orlean’s Bar was fun. Loved the cocktails and staff. The fixtures and decor were elegant. The neighborhood is up and coming. I’m looking forward to see what Blackstone becomes in a couple years.

United StatesOur Anniversary is around the July 4th holiday. Therefore, unbeknownst to us, The Kimpton is a very popular staycation venue during that time. The pool/bar area was a little crowded for us. We wanted a more relaxing vibe.. If you enjoy a good socially packed atmosphere, you might enjoy it. We would definitely go again, but probably not during a holiday week.
It was just the perfect staycation for our 30th Anniversary. The location was perfect. It was in the heart of the Blackstone Midtown Crossing area. Downtown was just a few miles away. The pool area was very relaxing and beautiful. Our room with the balcony was clean. It was nice to enjoy breakfast and dinner on the balcony. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast choices were great. We got the package that included breakfast. We ate onsite at the Committee Chophouse. My husband enjoyed his steak. My favorite was the brussel sprouts.
