Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The basement gym was destroyed in the August flood and hadn't been reconstructed yet. that was understandable as it was less than a month later. It was small and perhaps could be expanded with a universal gym. Lotions and other luxury toiletries could be added to the rooms
The room and common area were of the best design and decorating that I’ve seen. Room carpet was well selected for quality and very well cleaned. Location was great and separate parking arrangements were convenient and reasonably priced. Acashia, the manager on staff, really sold on staying when we stopped by to look at the property. Cleaning staff was amazing. Common areas were cleaned multiple times a day.

The shower was hard to figure out. Considering 5 stars a bathrobe and slippers would be nice so you can walk up to the kitchen area to get some coffee. The granola was stale. I would have loved some good granola with the yoghurt
The bed was the best I ever slept in . Shower gel , shampoo and conditioner I need to be able to buy!

Only issue was the street noise...a good pair of ear plugs would have worked wonders. However, we'd stay here again in a skinny minute!
Almost every aspect of the stay was superb. Incredibly clean room, very sizeable, perfect temperature, gorgeous high ceilings, wonderful shower! Gorgeous 2nd floor kitchen and sitting room with coffee!

The coffee machine only made espresso. If they are offering free breakfast items, a little more variety would have been nice.
The location was wonderful to walk to the lakefront and the Third Ward. The room was spacious and clean with some added amenities like coffee maker and common space.

Located right in town near the river and many cafes and restaurants. Clean, friendly staff, easy check in and check out. Nicely designed large rooms, high quality bathroom amenities and a communal cooking and breakfast space on each floor. We only stayed one night as we were passing through, but this would be a top choice for a longer stay.

The guesthouse was an unexpected pleasure. Very comfortable stay. The kitchen area was a unique plus. Complimentary breakfast items and coffee (all day), also a great perk. Highly recommend!! Lola was professional and friendly, making the check in process very easy.

Self check-in. No front desk. I may have missed this in the description but generally the lack of human interaction feels very cold and unwelcoming. We did find someone in an office who was very gracious and helped us as the elevator code had not been set for us.
Excellent location 2 blocks from the historic third ward district. Spacious clean modern room and common areas.

Right in the middle of the vibrant downtown. No parking onsite but plenty nearby for relatively decent prices. Nice room in a historic building with about 15’ ceilings including in the rooms. Comfortable bed and immaculate room. Common area on the floor provided self-serve yogurt, cereal, breakfast bars and coffee.

No on street parking or even an hotel parking lot. Had to pay $30 per day.
