- valet parking at $40 a day: the parking lot is literally 1min away from the front desk. That’s ridiculous. + they don’t give you the price when you arrive - no beach, and the 2 beaches close by are not nice: either crowded or too many waves. And not a lot of sand - everything is very pricy - no real intimacy, we were on the 1st floor, in front on the pool. We had to keep our curtains closed

While the property is excellent for adults, there is very little for kids to do - fine for us but people need to be aware if they’re thinking of bringing their children. No real beach in front, but there is on both sides. Also a bit overpriced, in my opinion, but so are some other options in Kauai and Maui.

Exceptional location. Very clean and well maintained. Nice amenities in the room. Food was very good. Staff was wonderful and very helpful; often remembered our names. Good amount of activities offered.

Very nice location. You can see beautiful sunsets. Very nice beaches are close by. If you want to explore the island, Poipu Beach is located relatively central. The canyon as well as the northern beaches are reachable within about 1 hr drive. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Privacy on lanai area, but was rarely out there to hang out. Could see a sliver of beach. I liked the privacy of room.

Dinner room service meal was excellent. Delicious and timely delivery! Jacuzzi and wonderful shower in room to relax. The entire staff, friendly, and professional. Shout outs for excellent guest service from Becky & team! Thank you, Becky! You are awesome! The valets, all remembered my name. I felt like VIP! I live by the beach in Honolulu and have previously lived in Poipu for 15 years! My go to spot to relax!

There’s quite a difference in quality of the “partial ocean view” rooms depending on which building you are in since “technically “ all rage roomed in the squared off horseshoe configuration an see the ocean from the small patios. We were in one of the worst rooms, 284, with the most limited view. This was probably due to us using booking.com for our stay,

Breakfast service was often piecemeal and up and down from day to day. Also certain rules were not monitored . I observed many children under 10 unsupervised in the outdoor hot tub contrary to the signs. This is not good as a young child could easily slip and drown. In addition young kids in hot tubs not always the best idea . If you quote rules they need to be monitored
