Didn't like cable TV at all, but I understand that satellite TV would be difficult in this wooded area. We thought that we would have dinner at the restaurant, but they do not open on Tuesdays. In fact their hours were very limited. Breakfast was only on Saturday and Sunday, so no go on that either. A wall mirror would be nice for those of us who wear glasses and need to get close to a mirror to put our makeup on. The only mirror was above a deep vanity over the sink.

Pleasant staff, beautiful grounds, rooms spacious and comfortable. Loved having a microwave, refrigerator, and kitchenette.

Beautiful setting right on Tonto Creek. Beautiful property, very clean and well kept. Rustic log cabins, rooms and Lodge. Delicious restaurant on site

Friendly and helpful staff. Brian the maintenance guy was outstanding. We had a problem with our fridge. called The front desk was told a man would be there soon Brian arrived in 15 minutes and fixed the problem. Facilities were nice and the restaurant was ok, the servers were very helpful and efficient. Overall a pleasant experience.

Twenty minutes drive west of Payson, AZ in the middle of a Ponderosa Pine forest. The fresh air was incredible. Nearby hiking. Room was clean and comfortable.

Very nice location surrounded by nature. Extremely friendly staff and comfortable bed. Will definitely be back because this Lodge is fully accessible to disabled guests. They even have lifts at the pool and the jacuzzi!

We always enjoy our stay at Khols Ranch. Rooms are comfortable. The grounds are so beautiful. There was a restaurant in/near the facility which is nice and we've been to the little bar in house which was wonderful. We love it all the way around!

My only issue with this property is that I booked an efficiency King suite that should have had a small kitchenette in it. When I checked in, I was told they didn't have any of the type of room I booked available, and was given a regular King suite. I wasn't very happy about that since the reason I booked was because I wanted the kitchenette. We had plans to cook our own dinner the first night we were there because the restaurant is not open on Tuesdays. Needless to say we went without dinner our first night because of this. I don't know if it was because Booking.com has the wrong number of that type of room in the inventory on the website, or if our room was given away to another guest that perhaps was a Hilton member/owner. Regardless, I didn't appreciate not getting the room that I originally booked.

We enjoyed our stay here very much. Loved all the activities you could participate in (cornhole, frisbee golf, putting course, volleyball, swimming, walking, fishing etc.) The rooms were clean, as were the linens and furniture, and rooms were decorated very nicely. Was very glad to have a larger sized coffee maker and a large enough refrigerator that actually had a freezer in it big enough to put a bag of ice in it. Loved the patio outside our room with the table and chairs to enjoy watching the birds and squirrels in the mornings and evenings. This turned out to be a quick getaway that we enjoyed much more than we anticipated and it was very relaxing. The onsite saloon serves an amazing lunch and drinks and is close enough to Payson that we could run into town to do some errands and stop by the local dairy/ice cream spot to get a much anticipated malt and shake. Will definitely book again.

We had only booked 1 night for Father's Day, but were so impressed with the Staff, Facilities, Location, Restaurant etc we booked ANOTHER night! We will definitely return.

Next door neighbors walking through our back porch to get to their family on the other side of us. Not a property issue but a guest issue.
